I think both akshara and varsha cases are different. in Varsha case she knows her in laws and husband very much before the marriage and akshara being her friend helped her a lot. Also one of the advantage of vasha is the presence of dadi.who thinks very maturely. There were certain situation between varsha and rajshri but with the help of dadi they solved there problems. I feel ma's think very modernly.

In case of akshara it is totally different case. She did not know any one. when she came first time after marraige even natik was angry with her. Initially what ever she wanted to do gaya refused like changing room decore, going out to watch a movie etc. i think major change in akshara came after she came to home after long mu's. Sometime I feel akshara whatever she is doing for gaya is for fear not love. the other disadvantage of that family is they do not trust there children. They trust servants, bindiya and babulu...

The only advantage that akshara has the support of her husband. But in my opinion that it self is not sufficient to exist in joint family. At one point for sure akshara is going to brust and it will come soon.

and i dont know..i cant gulp down the fact that she gave up without trying.. So i dont agree to that.. And manaofying g3 was a challenge.. Akshi cud have taken it up. I completely disagree with her at this. Lol.. I cant agree even if i WANT to.. Its inpossible..but i did TRY

well akshara and varsha are two opposite people like chalk and cheese but varsha has a bit easy in laws to deal with then akshara but neverless i feel akshara needs to balance her relationships out more for instance she always does things that pleases g3 and she dosnt feel bad even in situations when they arent wrong and natik has explained to g3 in a nice way afterwards she will think ma will feel bad and makes natik also say sorry she needs to learn to stand up a bit not be rude as we are taught to respect our elders but she can get her point of view across in a nice way and she know's very well that she has natik always as her support, akshara basically dosnt even give a try to talk to g3 she just assumes the answer will be no of course it will be but atleast she has given a try and not given up she needs to speak up to g3 whenever she takes duggu away from akshi and she just stands there sad, ppl like g3 exsist in real lyf as my best friend who got married last yr has a mother in law lyk this but she isnt the ideal bahu she manages both relationships which i feel akshi has to learn still my point of view

wow,such a good discussion, i am still reading throught the topic... i will add more but for now i wanted to comment on a statement i read in this thread...someone said that akshara has got in to trouble and hence been sad becuase of varsha when she left over lavinya and shaurya fiasco...but i would like to add that varsha has supperessed her feelings many times for akshara espically during the time after akshara's miscarriage.

and one thing that I like about varsha is that she speaks up for her child where as akshara doesnot...if you cant speak for youself fine but atleast for your child speak up. When Rajshri took ananya out without telling varsha and varsha found out she told Rajshri that you should have told me before you took her. the point lies here varsha said told me not asked me.
