many family live one roof. it seperated in portions. there will be one or two bath. one line water connect. if u guys watched KUMKUM. in that serial when they became poor they were shown in a chawl. that y i know

You wl find Chawls basically in mumbai. Chawls are often 2 to 3 storey. A chawl is group of one or two rooms housing unit . There are many such housing units on each floor with common sanitary facilities.
