Elesh and Shaurya's adventurous escapade

Elesh (Shyam Mashalkar) of Sasural Genda Phool and Shaurya (Ather Habib) of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Haiwere all set to prove that they are the most dumdaar members of the STAR Plus family at the STAR Parivaar Awards held in Macao.

Both of them competed against each other to see who reaches the mast of the Macao tower first.

Shaurya had a ball performing the task as he exclaims, "I always wanted to attempt something adventurous and got the opportunity to do so at Macao. It was very cold and we had to climb the tower which is a height of 338 meters. I was not at all nervous and took it up as a challenge."

Elesh too was ready and raring to go. He says, "Climbing the Macao tower was very scary because we were informed that although we would be wearing a harness and other safety measures would be taken, we were responsible for our own safety. Moreover, only one person at a time is allowed to climb, so I was all alone on this journey. It was a thrilling experience initially but I got tired soon and had to stop half way. The crew members had to pull me down," he laughs.

Elesh and Shaurya enjoyed themselves thoroughly at the STAR Parivaar Awards, besides indulging in adventure sports. Shaurya explains, "It is important to keep your wife happy, so I accompanied Varsha for shopping and sightseeing." Elesh adds, "I had a great time bonding with members of other shows from STAR Parivaar. We were just like one big family spending time with each other and helping each other out. The part I enjoyed most was when the Chinese people taught us their local dance and we taught them Garba and Bhangra. It was super fun."
