Now I am getting really curious are arranged marriages really like this in the initial years..

Problems cropping up every day..

Lack of communication between spouses..

Evil mom-in-laws..

Extra senti sis-in-laws..

Do these things actually happen for real?

No.

Problems are their in all marraiges, for that matter in any relation, we have to work to keep relations happy and same goes with marraiges.

Be it love or arrange, couple involved have to work to make that marraige work, its not a one day efforts its a life long journey.

Arrange marraiges has its own share of problems and difficulties, but what they are showing in YRKKH is a bit to the extreme. Adjustment problems do happen, also how to handle your inlaws this we learn with time only, but so many problems in first few days of marraige, this doesn't happen in normal life.

M also confused But asa hamesha hota hai koi bhi kissi ki beti ko apni beti kabhi nahin manta kahin na kahin faraq a hi jatah hai...

Hope it not happens and every1 loves otherz daughter as they luv there daughter........

well shadi ka laddooo....aisa hi hota hai...u'll come to know urself when u get married....don't expect too much and you will get more than what u dreamt

well said....and in the marriage the most inportant relationship is ofcourse the husband-wife relationship which should grow to be strong and notsidelined by the day to day family and society problems...

No i don't think what all they are showing really happens.....I have had a arranged marriage and believe me the initial days are the best...Issues do crop up with your husband or your in-laws but not so soon....everybody at this time is in frogive and forget phase ...

What they are showing is adjustment problems btw couples and btw the joint family system.....
Love or Arranged Marriage adjustments with family has to be made by both sides...in arranged marriages adjustments with spouse could also be initially difficult till you understand the other person well...that also if you haven't had a good enough courtship period...

Basically it is a show and they have to show such stuff to keep the audience glued....
