Loved your analysis. You have written Sidhushka and their deep connection with perfection.
Sure we all are going to miss this beautiful show. I don't even watch any other shows currently. Just wondering how am I going to get over YPNTKH...feel so attached to the actors too.

U said it!

Yes, this is as real as it can get. There is nothing to be abashed about, in being the husband and wife, post marriage. They had loved each other, craved for each other and only for each other since years; and this is nothing but natural.

About Anu, I am so in love with a FL, may very well be one of the first in ITV. She is bold, she is beautiful and has the brains. She talks sense with no melodrama. Knows to take her decisions. Can get her guy pushed to ask her dad's permission for marriage, decides for herself on what to believe snd what not to, is pragmatic for a change, loves, flaunts her love and can get the love she needs! U go girl! Will miss you when you walk into the horizon but will be happy to have seen you! She is nothing but an embodiment of a real girl!

Siddhant, is shown to be so natural and so in love too. He knows that she is getting him tied to her lil finger (the helmet scene for instance), but loves being there and willingly plays along. He admires her frankness and they are made for each other.

So, yes, i liked how they showed today. No roses, no promises, no waits, no sacrifices, no nonsense; just Love!

I shd tell again. Loved your post!

The soap has been very popular as it's close to reality. The characters, dialogues and the scenes are well etched and well enacted. Kudos to the YPNTKH team for making this serial worth watching. The love making scene happened and thankfully wasn't OTP. Beautifully done and the love between the couple was made so evident. They tried really hard by telling each other to stay away, but in the end, gave in to their instincts. 😉

Am sure the last few episodes would be worth it. Hope the makers are back soon with another script...

@ Rollingstones

Lovely write up. The fact this was done so nicely and the leads worked it in all honesty
Brings attention that may be we are maturing as audience too gone are the days when we were considering it taboo to talk about sex, desire etc

Anushka seems to be portraying the mordern Indian women to T, who is working educated and has a set of values which binds her to family values yet she isn't regressive and hides herself behind fake facades of shyness
And as per the writer he too deserves Kudos for agreeing to keep it like that

I started watching this show on and off very recently, and I have to say, Siddhant and Anoushka are the most believable and real couple on Indian TV. Two people who are ardently in love with each other cannot stay under the same roof and not indulge in physical intimacy. Kudos to the makers for showing this and for showing the female lead as a normal sexual being.
And after a long time I found an impressive female lead in Anoushka. She is someone who knows what she wants and makes no bones about going for it holding her head high and without compromising on her self-respect. And Siddhant for a change is a well mannered, caring and protective guy who treats his partner well, moving away from the concept of the handsome jerk male leads who abuses their partners in the name of love and revenge.
I have no clue as to why they are not doing good in terms of TRP. I think people hate normal..
