I voted for Prabhakar Sinha because even though he is dead, he remains pivotal in the show and on how and where it is moving.
Had I had a second vote I would have voted for Sweety Ji because his presence is so important for Siddhant. he is his ally, his confidante, his friend and his wellwisher in the truest sense.

He is the only character in the show who trusts Siddhant blindly and stands by his side no matter what.

Its a 3-way fight in my head between Riddhi, Sweetyji and PS.
Sweetyji is a pillar for Siddhant; started off profesionally; moved onto be emotionally too.
Riddhi is the similar pillar for Anushka.
PS - I though love his character sketch, I am thinking if he is too idealistic for my taste?

Need a think; and will be back to vote, shortly after. will edit this comment then!

And I have much love for few other characters too. Gayatri (yes, I do), Purva (other than the difficult pill called Karva) too.

Edit - added comment on pg. 3

Prabhakar :)
He's considered to be too idealistic but I don't think so. Old school yes, idealistic, no. That dialogue of his to KK - we apply everything in business - saam daam dand bhed - but there's a limit we shouldn't cross. That tells me he was honest but he was also a sharp advisor.

He has an important quality, being at peace, or content with self. Something very difficult to achieve. And he was no Leftist just because he read Paash. Wouldn't have sent his son to a fancy school if he was. He read left leaning writers, rubbed shoulders with capitalists but walked a middle path. A person satisfied with what he had.

There's this characteristic warmth, members post about, when he comes onscreen, so that's a factor. I think Anuraag added much more nuance to Prabhakar, making him even more endearing. We really were bummed when he died in the show.

I loved his last conversation with Purva, kuchh kitabein kya padh li, tumne socha hum modeling ko bura samjhenge

The way he explained things to her was beautiful to watch. So was the conversation with Gayatri, sharing his concerns about Siddhant.

And I loved how much grounded he was, like when talking to his Chachaji on birthday and making litti chokha.

Purva sinha all the way.
she is sid's unspoken strength amd i love her for that.
purva can guide and motivate and be a cute little one too.
i love her. i dont think sid can survive without her. his gaurds r so high wen it comes to purva. much higher than those for ps.
i love how uncomplicated n yet complex purva is.
she fiercely loves her brother and mom and considers anushka her true friend.
for me she is the most relatable and real character in ypntkh.
👏 ⭐️
(i hate ps n gayatri somehow 😆)

The handsome hunk is not in the list, nor is the beauty of the serial...
So, PS for sure...the characterization is awesome.

Excellent analysis Peaches!! 👏 tbh, I m little inclined towards his character than Siddhant and Anushka... Sometimes I felt tht he was too idealistic n sometimes I felt had he not been that way, Siddhant wouldn't hv had tht zidd in him to prove to his father tht he too is a good lawyer... Do we really have people like him in real life who are so true to their professional life? Everytime I watch scenes of Prabhakar n KK, I feel how Prabhakar was tricked by him into believing tht he is his true friend... Painful for any man to b stabbed by the only person who claimed tht he would always stand by him.
