I think that Sid should open up in front of Anushka as to what he is feeling really because the huge burden he is carrying inside will be shared with Anushka, who is going to be his Life partner & she will understand/ will guide him better. Anushka can handle her Dad smartly & Siddhant can convince Gayatri to not fear anything else. KK loves his Daughter more than anything else and this is the only problem that can be solved in a nice way without all unnecessary Drama/Hurting game.
