what if..

siddhant is deliberately putting himself in trouble!

we all know he never speaks like that without thinking.

i think siddhant wants to come into rao's bad books.

when siddhant insults kk rao might be around and this will provoke rao to kill siddhant. this way siddhant can stay aware and catch rao red handed.

sid needs the poison bottle proof. for this he needs to provoke rao.

your points are logical , and that trapping of Rao to catch him red handed might come later on , because for now Sid is too overloaded with emotions , not in a right frame to plot or plan ...he is more shattered today than on the day Prabhakar died, he has been always so emotional when it comes to his dad, remember how much he fought with that khattar for speaking something against his dad, here it's the murder , his emotions are all over the place and he has no control on what he says ...but i feel KK may not be angry or hold any grudge and might dig deep and may be help SId in his quest .. i know i am going against all odds, but I wish and hope they don't put a blot or ruin KK Prabhakar friendship ever !!

My guess is they are putting blame on Rao ... as I remember book was handed to Prabhakar by KK and not Rao as told by karthik to siddhanth... there is another angle to the story ... may be Karthik is behind all this or someone helping him . My thoughts

they did not show us who gave the book to prabhakar. Kk's dialogue was that he would send the manuscript to prabhakar's home n that he should proof read n keep it a secret. So it was rao who handed the book to p.
