yea i think the show would lose its essence if it was set in Mumbai, its that Lucknow backdrop and the whole homely setting that gives this great feel and made me fall in love with this show!

if u could choose any AbHer scene we had so far to be in the place of Leher, which would you choose and why?

I would choose the scene were AbHer are hiding from Kul chacha in the terrace under the chaddar😍My reason for choosing this scene are pretty obvious i guess😆

Gosh... All time favorite show? That's a bit hard to decide!

I would say Buniyaad. This was a TV serial that was telecast on Doordarshan, the govt TV channel, in India, in 1986-87. Excellent story (about pre-and post-partition India), casting, and superb performances. Some people who debuted in this show have gone on to become big names in TV and film world- Alok Nath, Dalip Tahil, Soni Razdan, Achala Sachdev, Kanwaljeet Singh, Krutika Desai.....Mazhar Khan (late husband of Zeenat Aman) was Abeer-like character, but negative (I think, can't remember well now).

To this day, Buniyaad remains one of my fav shows!

Next-BBC's period drama Pride and Prejudice(1995 version).

Who could have played Abeer and Leher, if not GK and Yami?
