Lalji's character has a certain purpose and I don't think that purpose is achieved...so, I don't see him dead...in fact, if the post-mortem happens...something confusing might be revealed...which will be an interesting twist to the story as well. My gut says...Lalji is not dead!!
Secondly, I am very pleased to see someone particularly praising Ananya Khare's performance as Raami Ben.
Isabel well said and good observation!!
In the passion of praising the leads...who are undoubtedly doing a splendid job...everyone tends to get carried away and ignore the talents of the supporting cast. I find Ananya ji fleshing out Raami very well...she was incredible in that final 'break-down' scene...right from the time Aru came running seeing the body in flames, Raami had started to panic, shiver and sweat...to being horrified to find Lalji in the pool 'all-burnt', to go into the shocked zone and finally breaking down in her room...was indeed an array of interconnected emotions and an extremely fine performance on display... in fact, for me, she was the performer of the episode!! Without much dialogues...it was solely her expressions and that long wailing in her room that pulled her act through...quite impressive, I must say.
One last thing about this gentleman playing Arjan...Dude, I find him to be another smashing actor. He is indeed good...brings out the evil so well and gives me creeps. (Rami-Lalji I find stupid as villans- they behave more like love-stuck puppies). Arjan is actually the one that Aru needs to be careful of.
Overall, a fab episode it was...Mukhi-Aru scene was of course the nicest thing that happened to me yesterday...they have won my heart like never before...š CVs...sending you my warm regards for writing the mattress scenešš¼It was tender, affectionate and Heart-touching...THIS, Ladies & Gentlemen is what can be called as Creativity...classy, subtle and lovely!!! Loved everything about the episode!!
