Pooja realizes that Reema is still tense about her pregnancy, so she takes her out shopping. Maya gets a proposal for Reema's marriage which creates an excitement in the Gujral house. Reema bumps into Gautam when she and Pooja are shopping at the florist's, where mistakenly her cell phone gets exchanged with that of Gautam.
Gautam calls Reema to a restaurant to get their respective cell phones back. Reema is embarrassed to see Akash at the restaurant with Gautam, but at the same time Gautam manages to impress her so much that she agrees to have lunch with him.
Reema refuses Maya's proposal of marriage, but somehow Pooja convinces Reema to at least meet the boy. Reluctantly, Reema agrees to meet the boy and to her surprise the boy who walks into their house is none other than Gautam Mehra
