she most probably is muslim cuz her dad's name is Sikander Ali Gesawat. Sikander and Ali are clearly muslim names. and according to my mom Gesawat may also be a muslim name. muslims dont always have muslim-sounding names

Even if Shama is muslim.....she can still marry Amit! Look at SRK-Gauri...one's muslim and one's hindu and then Hrithik and Susana..same thing

ya but imagine how hard it would be to make your parents understand. If i ever even think about doing that, my parents will never talk to me again.
