Akshay and Manjari talk for a bit and Manjari falls asleep. Akshay puts the blanket on her and stares at her for awhile.
The wind makes some pages flip and Akshay turns to see Manjari's diary. He picks it up and starts reading the entry where Manjari writes about when she first fell in love with Ranbir.
Akshay is really sad. Manjari flips to more entries. One entry of when Manjari writes about Akshay leaving and that she felt bad for having to be rude to him.
And then he reads one where she writes that suspicion ruins everything.
Akshay has flashes of a smiling Manjari. The old, happy one.
Akshay promises to bring the happy Manjari back.
Akshay gets up in the night to realize Manjari wasn't in her bed anymore. And he finds Manjari lighting pictures of her and Ranbir on fire. Akshay puts the fire out by stepping on it demanding to know what she was doing.
Manjari reveals to Akshay that she now no longer believes in love and that people can live without it. She also says that she won't be able to love anybody or trust anyone now.
Manjari tells him that he [Akshay] or anything he says, won't change what happened to her.
Akshay thinks back to when Manjari told him that she was finally in love. And he hopes for the best.
Sonu brings tickets to return to Agra. And she's wondering what's wrong when she realizes that Akshay and Manjari haven't even packed.
Akshay worries about Manjari and is also worried about how her family will be able to see her the way she is now.
Sonu encourages him and tells him that, he was her strength. She advises him to start packing and that everything would be fine when Manjari got home.
