I believe this track is going to turn out to one of the most important tracks and will prove to be a turning point for RuSha. I think Preesha is on verge of realization. In fact, she is already in love without know it. She needed a pull/something to trigger to bring those feelings to the surface. Rudra's accident at least made her realise that she can't live without her.
I strongly believe that her late or slow realization is because of her past. She never experienced these feelings before. When she was young and in college, she had Saransh's responsibility. Eventually, Saransh became her life. She never had time (or I guess never tried) to look beyond Saransh. These feelings, Rudra's touch, his closeness, his love everything is NEW for her. I also think she is little reserved with her feelings (may be). The navel piercing scene hinted that she was not like this before. She said had a bet in college. This shows she was very happy-go-lucky, cool type of girl back then. But then Saransh came in her life and she changed.
Also, I don't think she was ever in love with Yuvraj. She might be attracted to him out of gratitude because he was ready to accept Saransh. But that wasn't love. I can firmly say this because she asked Yuvraj to stay away from her and stop calling after her marriage with Rudra.
I more excited to see her journey of realization of love.
Usually, a girl become a woman and then a mother. In Preesha's case, a girl suddenly became a mother.
With regards to Rudra, he is more open obviously. He had enough flings and affairs. In one of his povs, he says itne ladkiyoon ke close raha hu par Preesha ke saath kuch alag hai (can't remember the exact dialogue). This means he knows the feeling of being close a girl he loves/or how does it feel being in love. Also, he never had any baggage of responsibilities like Preesha. His plus point is that he had clarity. He knew what he feels for her. He said "Main kya feel karta hu main janta hu' means he had clarity and even surety of his thoughts and feelings.
As expected, he was first and quick to fall in love. After all, what all she did for him (schooling track, Priyanka's accusations, leaving Khurana mansion with him, speaking up for him), no one has ever done for him. He said 'Rajiv used to try but not like what Preesha did for him'. Obviously, he will fall in love with girl like her.
She gave him a feeling of completeness. She gave him family which he craved for.
Sometimes, I do feel that they should have given time to Preesha to realise love. Or Rudra should have tried to know her feelings before deciding to confess. But then 'Story progress kaise karegi' (I am very happy with the storyline, no complaints).
One thing is sure that they both trust each other with Saransh. They are on same page with respect to Saransh.
I am excited to see how the makers actually execute this track. It is going to be very important as it will lay foundation of their new relationship.
This new relationship is based on THEIR LOVE. They will come together for themselves and their love and not just for Saransh.
I believe at the end of MU, Rudra should at least know that Preesha is innocent in Rajiv's case. (Its ok if they don't expose Yuvraj at this point). Why it is necessary is because once the misunderstandings are cleared and they want to come together but this 'Rajiv's murderer' thing will be still there between them.
Secondly, Rudra will not be able to trust her completely if she isn't proven innocent.
And even if they come together after MU and the makers bring in Rajiv's murder track in the future, Preesha will be automatically looped in to it.
