Why YUDKBH needs an extension not Season 2

I don’t agree to Sony’s claim that there is no story left in YUDKBH now. The show was introduced by a successful writer Naina Maheshwari who is in her 40s with a big bank balance. Right now Naina is in her early 20s and just got introduced to writing for TV shows. Since this show is inspired on Shashi Mam and Sumeet sir’s real life we all know that they were also introduced by Aruna Mam to write for her show and they wrote few more shows before landing as the writers for movies. After that only they started their own production house. They got successful with their hard work and produced numerous shows. After so many years they started work for YUDKBH.

So from show’s point of view there are still a long way for them to go. They can show the obstacles that they faced in each and every level of their professional life and how they managed to solve them successfully. Mumbai track was the second chapter of their life and it can’t be finished in just 40-50 episodes.

In personal front also they have a lot to show like Naina’s pregnancy, excitement and discomfort associated with that, taking care of kids, how they managed both personal life and professional life successfully and what are the issues that they faced during those years.

I think even before the start of the show both Ashi and Randeep were aware of how their characters are going to be and what are the ages that they have to go through during the entire show. That’s why Randeep worked hard to shed muscles to look like a teenager. Now as the story progresses through different years both of them are having physical changes also. Both Ashi and Randeep worked hard to come out of that teenager look and became more muscular. In fact Ashi was looking so elegant in that middle aged lady’s make up in the first episode and during the introduction of the Mumbai track. Even Randeep said during the interview of 450th episode celebrations that they have story left for more than 500 episodes.

So in my opinion if YUDKBH is stopping at this point of their career means it will be an incomplete journey of both of them. We saw how they fell in love and fought with everyone for that love. Now it’s time for them to fight together for a successful career which we may not be able to see if Sony decides to stop it and no season 2 can fill that gap.

I like the show and have been watching it since day 1. But logically they cant show the story until present day coz it's un dino ki baat ..it was clearly marketed as #throwback90s show. So frankly they can just show more 3 years until '99. If they continue beyond that point the basic essence shall be lost somewhere which made us all connect with it.😊it may seem like a drag later on if they can't handle it. Hopefully they end it on a high like they started. Season 2 if true whenever it comes hopefully has these two as it's lead.

I agree that they can’t extend the show forever but atleast they have to show how Naina became a successful writer and came back to PVKM and that journey can’t be finished in few episodes. Our show always had a slow and beautiful approach and it will be spoiled if they rush all those years growth in 10-15 episodes. So I just want Sony to give enough extension so that this beautiful story can be told in its own pace and let Samaina complete their journey.

Totally agree with you whenever I come across the statement "serial is facing its final leg so we are ending it" I remember RDs statement of 450 episodes interview where he said "1000 episode tak ki kahani mujhe pata hai." I wonder how come suddenly they realized that there is no story left to show in this serial kuch bhi matlab... They think they can throw any rubbish to viewers and we will accept it... And if this sony channel are not willing to complete season 1 properly how will they even think of season 2? I toh never believed in this season 2 crap wondering what are they going to show😔? Surely its a toffee to clam down FD

Yes,.they could have given time until sept Oct to gradually complete the story in their way. But Sony is notorious for such things. Frankly YUD is kinda lucky to get a month's notice , I have seen serials go off air within two weeks like absolute abrupt ending. Also, always take randeep's comment of having story more than 1000 epis with a pinch of salt. They have always maintained that they never know the story until they get scripts in hand that's about for only just a week. So they have no clue what the story is in future. Anyway this has been a fantastic show per Indian standards. So hopefully they get back again.😊

All I want is a proper closure for this season and then season 2 .. But it seems only season 2 is gonna come

Atleast u guys r getting a season 2 from so called 'Sony' notorious for ruining shows.

We also tried same thing with Bhaskar bharti...lot of petitions, calls etc even tried new production house..They ruined the show in just 3 months & pulled it off...

Dont any of those old members still exist..After tht heart break...i just left IF forums...stopped watching TV shows..finally came Sadda haq..tht show ws also awesome...bt then couldnt reach the cult levels of BB.

After tht came YUDKBH...awesome due to its 90's track...
