Naina Does not know cooking? where is old Naina - Page 4

I think every girl from middle class knows basic cooking. Yeah, if it was speciality cooking, then I will understand that it needs special training. Making tea, preparing basics dishes can be learnt through observations also. Lots of young girls 15-16 years even fill in for their mothers when they are unavailable to cook. Instead of how Naina behaved today in the kitchen, they could have shown Sameer not liking the smell of the food Naina was preparing or Naina making something he does not like - I mean to say more relatable things instead of showing Naina lacking basic culinary abilities.

Studios,non studios,from poor family,midd mi class family or even from Rich family must know household work.it is compulsory for every girl .I'm also from 90s

If the show of todays era it doesn't matter because now we give liberty to our girls not to do House hold work only concentrate on studies .

Bcoz from first episode which Naina I love is totally lost by CV

And I'm feeling cheated

After watching the episode, I got the idea that Naina knows how to cook but is not good at it. I remember Taiji telling everyone once during Puja's wedding, the scene Sameer was praising Naina in front of everyone, that she takes 1 hour to clean utensils. It seems Naina can do basic housework but she is not that good at it. And in Agarwal house, she had chachi doing most of the work and Preeti to help her. The cvs were trying to show day to day married life and them discovering more about each other as husband and wife, which they would never discover as gf-bf. The writing makes sense here but the execution was poor like Naina not opening the window and not able to cut onion properly.

@Anvi2009 I agree that they want to show the adjustments needed post marriage and different sides of their characters. However one does not have polarized characteristics like being intelligent for 350 episodes and then without rhyme or reason become completely stupid and unable to think for oneself.

Naina in the previous epi had come up with a timetable for exam preparation. The epi would have made more sense, if they had brought this connection and shown how she was struggling to finish cooking breakfast, lunch, cleaning so that they can focus on studies. When you are in a hurry, inexperienced, everything is new - mistakes are bound to happen - especially when her focus is on exams and these are two young couple without any parental support or guidance..

Tis thread has some serious moral policing 😆...The so called takers of the forum or should i say the over obsessed fans should know where to draw the line when the discussion is in accordance to the TOPIC POSTED n not on the throats of ur favouriates...!!

Even in their promo they showed her making Poori .Normally when the wedding is near no one asks the bride to fry things but their promo showed her making Poori. Which elder lady in the house will give a girl to make Poori if she is not proficient in cooking.

What is irritating is , they are not even considering what they showed in the past...they cant even put that much of effort...very disappointing.

The idea of CVs are correct . to show how a newly married couple tries to adjust . getting to know each other . they failed in execution. Basic charatrization which they showed in the beginning is missing

The idea of showing adjustement between couples is true..but the writing n execution is really poor. .If the message was to show Naina is nervous being in the kitchen byherself n doing blunders...then that wasnt coming appropriate but rather showing her in bad light!

For once i want to see that very straight haired gal who went missing at the time of her shaadi or has her whole personality got PERMED?!! 😆
