I was have lived 90s as a school student as well as college student. Although I admit that girls were not that in tuned with the physical aspect in a romantic love, we still had some knowledge about it. There used to be married girls in college who would talk, then then were a small number of girls with boyfriends who had done the deed with whom you talked and of course, your own curiosity made you pry around and read things here and there. Why do you think CVs are showing Naina & even Preeti as extremely nave 10 year old girls knowing nothing about intimacy? How is it possible that college going girl in the 90s had zero knowledge about intricacies of romantic relationship?

As you said in your posts there used to be some one is college known to them to discuss know , but Aggarwals have been shown as an orthodox family where such discussions were prohibited , even film songs on double meaning were not allowed, and as Naina as a character was of old thinking like Swati was shown filmy but Naina was not

May be CVs want to say She knows few things but not complete concept..
..she got annoyed on Sameer when he tied Dori, why?
..she never allowed him to hug or kiss..
..chchaji said 'Hadd' so she knows there something which has 'hadd'

After marriage, till now she s unable to concentrate on everything coz f her hair mess up..

This s may b making us think she s Naive

See, this is not convincing for me at all. I did not come from the orthodox family but I had friends who did. They all knew at least some aspects of it. The family being conservative may mean they may not have liberty to discussed certain things at home but it certainly does not imply that they won't talk with their friends about it in colleges.

I agree that earlier Naina put that "Hadd" and everything was "Shaadi ke baad". However, now she is acting as if she is too innocent to know anything.

So you think she has partial amnesia due to her hair fiasco?

Generally aggrawals are orthodox, and by orthodox means they are extremely conscious of how their children comport.
It is a welcome change that is shown in the show that Naina and Preeti are going to Clg. But the reality is in Aggarwal families, girls are restricted to study, they are taught evrythever about home making but are not very vocal about intimacy

Even today, there are various restrictions.
So do you think their would have been any talks about what happens after marriage or physical intimacy.

Belonging to an Aggarwal family, if there was no exposure of technology , I would have been ignorant too..
That's the truth too..

I really don't feel she is that naive..she knows things happen moore than kiss happen...she knows ke se pregnant nahi hote 😆
She wouldn't have given into kiss on sagaai if she was that naive...
If you see..she has a certain blush whenever suhaagraat is mentioned...

Its just that she doesn't know how to take things forward...and she defo doesn't catch the double meanins but that doesn't mean she doesn't know that things happen...

Bela herself is very shy talking about it..you could see it in the nighty incident ..and when the girls where dancing on that song...she said na ke beta abhi teri shaadi hui nahi hai...so clearly she is among those who thinks that the girl will learn that aspect after marriage herself...

I agree with you that lot of Marwari girls married young. Lot of my Marwari girlfriends married right after high school. It does not have to be Marwari orthodox family, I don't believe any families discussed such topics at homes. Naina & Preeti not discussing at home is fine but don't they go to college? Even if they won't discuss themselves, won't they hear other girls talking? When there was no technology, there were other mediums to be exposed to things. To have incomplete knowledge about such matter is fine but to make showing girls so naive for Naina to say "kya log shamjhange" and Preeti saying "honeymoon pe Naina ke saath kyon nahi ja sakti" is tad bit indigestible for me.

I agree with you but in college not every one talks about these things , in those days also I don't think everyone could have opened up easily.
Infact girls are still shy to even talk about these things even today..
Atleast none of my friends are really comfortable talking about intimacy.
Maybe Preeti's words are added by CVs to make Naina appear docile..
But I guess it is turning different..
I am sure Naina knew something..
Kuch ladkiyan bilkul nai appear hone deti that they know about the things..

Not partial amnesia...

She s still not settled as Sameer's wife..that realisation has to strike her yet ..some cozy moments are enough for that..
She will b a quick learner as I feel she hs only little bit knowledge about this and most f them she will learn completelyy only after marriage..

I m sure poo bhabi or Pooja di can help her if she has some girlish doubtss..

SR is the first time they will be all alone only that time we'll
actully come to know she s naive or nt
