I think you are right. From Munna's expression it is clear that he does not want them to tell Sameer anything. There may be 2 reasons, he does not want Sam to have some hope and he gets hurt or he wants Naina herself to tell Sameer about rishta break.

Munna doesn't look happy in propose spoiler video too . I feel like he will be super angry on naina when she says no to Sameer .
