Some memories are unforgettable, some are ever vivid and some are heartwarming.
Similarly, for me there are few episodes of YUDKBH which is very close to my heart. Yesterday's episode took me back to those initial days of the show. The first thing I noticed was how restless he got when he found that his girl's attention is not on him. He just didn't like the idea, even if it meant distracting her from her studies. It was not because he was jealous of her success but he didn't like the idea of books competing with him for her attention. For Naina , it has to be ONLY and ONLY Sameer. And where did he land searching for her , their favorite place - THE LIBRARY which reminded him not only of their past moments but also his greatest fear, her dad !!
When he failed to get the necessary attention , he decided to follow their "Tap the bench twice code. But his lady was in no mood to give in , though she was getting distracted , her need to please her family and be successful in life kept her focused . And did you all think , he is going to let it go just like that ...NO WAY !! NOT WHEN IT COME TO HIS NEED TO HAVE ALL HER ATTENTION FOR HIMSELF!!
If you remember in the initial episodes he wanted to steal her shoes and hide it so that she would get scolding from her family and teachers. Now, he threw his own shoes to get back to her, to his love. That's how desperate he is when it comes to her affection for him.
She understood it , and in a way she likes playing this cat and the mouse game with him once in a while. Why ?? Because even her heart wanted that timely dose of his attention. Especially after Madhuri's Dhak Dhak even she was slightly feeling insecure.
Remember her dropping the hanky to tell him to come to temple for their first date?? Here she knew he was getting restless with out her and so was she but how would she comfort him and confirm to him that no matter what, she belongs to him?? She goes for her age-old trick, drops her books so that he could hold her hand . The warm hand of hers in his comforted him and he was relieved once again as she took the initiative to give her hand to him , he was satisfied, then he himself helps her to collate her fallen books. This is very symbolic. She wouldn't mind letting go her precious studies to be with him and he will help her complete her studies.
He might have told Munna that he doesn't want to get married so early, but if he gets to know that her family or his family will try and get him/her married to someone else, then Mr. Sameer Wanna Be Happy Maheshwari will have the worst nightmare which will push him to become Mr. Sameer Responsible Maheshwari!! ( Unless CVs want to go the usual sas bahu OTT way )
Don't you think that our Sameer will drop everything in his life to fight for his Naina ?? Or do you all think his freedom is more precious for him??
PS: I believe that he will choose Naina, which means marriage.
