First of all, let me just tell you how extremely happy I was to see an update for EU after so long! I love this FF!!! So pleased that you have finally got a breather from all you other commitments.
Hehe I know May! Bahot wait karaya maine! Hope it was worth it though! 😳
Shakespeare's following lines have been running through my mind since I read this update yesterday. "Love is not love
Which alters when it alteration finds,
Or bends with the remover to remove.
O no, it is an ever-fixed mark
That looks on tempests and is never shaken;
It is the star to every wand'ring bark,
Whose worth's unknown, although his height be taken."Whoa! 👏 These lines are so apt! No wonder- Shakespeare is Shakespeare! I guess my first introduction to romance was from his works! These lines surely depict Sameer and Naina and their feelings for each other!
Time has obviously left its mark on their lives and theirs thoughts and feelings, but it has not been able to take away the underlying deep love and wanting for each other. And their angst soothes my romantic soul.
😳 Even hate is a sign of love here- the mere presence of someone else in Naina's life affects Sameer and so does Naina when she feels Sameer has moved on.
It was interesting to read how Sameer has channeled all his energy into his work the past few years and the type of boss he has become! Maybe his professional life benefited from the mess in his personal life.
Perhaps there's always something positive to look at in times of our deepest miseries too! Had Naina been by his side all along, he might not have devoted himself to his work in this fashion. Her absence drove him to have his mind be occupied as most as he could. And his business boomed coz of the hard work he put in!
At least he has not had to completely fend for himself. In whatever limited way.. maybe to support him in sickness only, his family has been around and that made me feel a little better.
That's true...he's still lonely- the family offers part/ conditional assistance...yet the love he yearns for remains to be incomplete.
That conversation on the phone with a fumbling Sameer was so endearing. He just couldn't wait to call her. Things like the missed call are the subtle things that tie it back to the show and make the story more lovable!
😃 Wow dear! See- I told you notice stuff! You noticed I put in the 2 ring signal here too...albeit it was unintentional! I did so here since before they'd been in hostel all along and never actually needed to talk on phone.
Naina has retreated into such a deep shell.. and she hurts so much every time she thinks that he has completely moved on. It is really painful to see her in this state.
😕 That's true...poor thing! Her side of the story is still pending I know.
But I loved the selfless Sameer here.. thinking of her and her child's needs, wanting to do what he could to help. It takes a very big heart to do this when you are still reeling from your own loss.
I agree...that's why I love Sameer despite all his fallacies...no normal person can do it as easily as he did...knowing there was a mighty chance Naina had deceived him and married someone better off or as Sameer thinks.
Looking forward to to more of their interactions and little Diya too.I hope you like them! 😊
Last but not the least have a wonderful 2019! Lots of love, luck and success dear! And a small selfish wish to see more regular updates for your stories 😳I hope I can live upto my resolution for 2019 dear...to be more regular in writing! Happy New Year to you too May and a very Happy Birthday as well! 🥳
Lots of love,
May
