As sameer shifted, naina's eyes too widened. She could very well sense that they had got to know the truth. Preeti came closer and rohan stood in front of sameer. Samaina tried to avoid the eyes of their respective sibblings. But surprisingly, they started chuckling and embraced them in a tight hug. Naina and sameer looked at each other in confusion . "thanks behen, aaj tere iss idea ki vajah se mai rohan ko sachh mei khone se bacch gy". "han bhai, agar aap logo ne sahi time par hume ehsaas nahi karaya hota toh Shayad bohat late ho jati or hum galat decision le lete"

Samaina broke the hug and passed a knowing smile. "mai kal hi maa se baat kar lunga" sameer suggested and naina nodded happily. "nahi bhai!" rohan and preeti passed a look to each other and preeti continued "naina humne yeh decide kiya hai, ki hum yeh news teri delivery ke baad sabko denge".

Naina immediately interrupted "par kyu?"
At this rohan addressed sameer "bhai aap toh jante hi hai ki kitna kuch hai baat karne ko. Abi toh delhi mei kisi ko naye ghar ke baare mei kuch pta bi ni hai. Ek baar yeh news bahar aay toh bohat kuch sambhalna padega. Mai ni chahta.. Mera matlab hai hum ni chahte ki iski vajah se bhabhi ko koi stress ho". "han or vaise bi ab toh kuch hi hafto ki baat hai" preeti smiled.

Naina cupped her sister's face, and caressed it but then smacked her cheeks lightly. "ouch"
"itni samjhdari wali baatein kabse karne lagi tu" naina laughed and trio too joined.

After a small conversation, rohan took the initiative of dropping preeti home before anyone from the two families gets a doubt. Sameer and naina teased them a bit but then bid adieu.

The next day, to everyone's utter surprise and to naina's extreme happiness, rakesh came to meet her. Above it, to bless her. Though the relations of sasur and damad were not at a good note, but they tried hard to be normal..for naina. Sameer behaved extra sweetly while sasurji kept himself from calling him "baalo ki dukaan".

He gave some gifts to naina, and apologised for giving a miss to the godbharai. Naina just kept shaking her head with tears in eyes and smile on face. Sameer was overwhelmed on seeing some sensitivity in his sasurji, who felt it necessary to visit his daughter in this time. The visit ended with rakesh giving instructions, named as 'gyaan' by sameer to naina and asked them to avoid last minute rush.

"Naina.. " sameer called out from the car for the tenth time and honked continuously.

"arey aagy..." screamed naina as she approached the car.

"itna time kyu laga diya? Doctor par hi toh jana hai" said an irritated sameer as he started the car.

" kapde fit nahi aa rahe the. Samjh hi nahi aa rha tha kya pehnu. Vaise hi itni motu si hogy hu. Ab acha dikhne ke liye kapde toh ache pehnne padenge", said a dissapointed naina.

A chuckle escaped sameer's mouth while naina looked at him in confusion " naina tum kabse apni appearance ki chinta karne lagi?? Or vaise bi tum moti ni.. Or zyada cute hogy ho. Muje toh tum ab orr achi lagne lagi ho. Kisi orr par nazar toh jati hi nahi ". And he winked.

"rehnedo tum. Subah dekha maine kaise madhuri dixit ko nihaar rahe the newspaper mei" she said annoyed while sameer gulped. She noticed this?

"aah.. Vo toh mai dekh rha tha konsi movie ani hai. Uski release date mil hi ni rahi thi" he tried to cover up but he knew he had failed miserably as no reply came from the other end.

"mai soch rha tha doctor ke baad shopping karne chale" he suggested, hoping for lighting up his wife's mood.

"aagy na sachhai muh par. Ni achi lagti na ab mai tumhe? Pyaar kamm hogya hai na tumhara?" said naina, her voice choking and tears getting welled up in her eyes.

Sameer stopped the car immediately. He looked at her with horror. Millions of thoughts running in his mind. Mood swings ka phase toh jaa chuka hai na? Fir ise kya hogya achanak? Kisine kuch kaha toh nahi?.

"naina.." he cupped her face, wiping her unshed tears and dropped a quick forehead kiss.
"tum kyu aisi baatein kar ri ho. Maine tumhe pehle bi kaha tha orr ab bi keh rha hu, tum jaisi ho muje vaisi hi pasand ho. Vo toh tumhe kapde fit ni aa rhe isliye maine shopping ke liye kaha. Please aisa kabi matt sochna ki bachhe ke ane par humare pyaar par koi bi farak padega. "

Naina lowered her eyes and nodded" im sorry sameer. Subah se ajeeb ajeeb se khyaal aa rhe hai mann mei. Kabi kapdo ko lekar toh kabi..."and she trailled of.
" kabi kya naina? "
" kuch ni tum chalo. Appointment nikal jaegi"
She said wiping off her face and passing a smile for assuring sameer. Sameer nodded and decided to stay calm.

Doctor's appointment went well with all the necessary tests done. The due date was predicted to be after two weeks. It was the last checkup. Now they would directly visit on the day of delivery. The doctor wished them best, and they dispersed.

On their way back, sameer noticed that naina was in a deep thought. It was as if something was troubling her. After a few minutes, he wasn't able to take it and so parked the car to a side.

"naina tum kyu itni pareshan ho. Kya soche jaa rahi ho?"
Naina was jerked out of her thoughts and she looked at sameer, whose face reflected concern and tension. She decided to share it with him.

"sameer vo..jaise jaise delivery ki date paas aa rhi hai, muje khushi bi ho rhi hai orr tension bi"
"kaisi tension?"
"bas yahi ki sab ache se ho jae. Mera mtlb hai time par ho jae or fir pta ni kitna dard hota hoga. Mai sab theek se kar paungi ke nahi.." she avoided his eyes, as she revealed it. But instantly felt a warm hand enveloping hers, giving a light squeeze.

"naina.. Mai samj sakta hu. Sachh kahu toh tension toh muje bi ho rhi hai. Par mai tumhe vishwas dilata hu ki sab kuch theek hoga. In fact maine socha hai ki hum delivery se ek do dinn pehle hi hospital chale jaenge. Tumhari last minute ki tension ko khatam karne ke liye..... " naina was still quite.

Sameer continued" Aisa karo tum ghar jate hi mummy se baat kar lena. Baki sawalo ke jawab vo hi de sakti hai. "he was trying his best to ease her, she could feel that. So she just gave a nodd.

But naina's smile didn't reach her eyes. There was something more.
" or koi baat? "
"ghar jakar baat kare please?" naina pleaded.

As they reached home, sameer asked vishakha to talk to naina, giving a slight hint about her tensions. After having the lunch, vishakha took her to the garden and talked. Naina's all doubts got cleared, and she realised that half information is always dangerous.

Though naina was back to normal, sameer was still not convinced. His mother's words kept ringing in his head. " sameer, iss time par, aisi tensions lena normal hai. Tumne acha kiya jo muje yeh bta diya. Isi tarah samjhdari se tumhe naina ke kisi bi darr ya tension ko door karna hai. Vo darr kaisa bi ho. Tumhe gusse ya daant se use shaant ni karna. Balki use samjhana hai taki vo darr humesha ke liye khatam hojae or naina ki sehat bi theek rahe. Use vishwas dilao ki vo iss waqt tumse koi bi cheez share kar sakti hai. Agar nazaraz ho jaoge toh Shayad vo pareshan hoti rahe ho tumhe kuch na btae. Jo sahi ni hai. Tum samjh re ho na? "

At night, sameer took naina in a cuddle with his arms resting on her back while hers on his waist.
"naina..."
"hmm.."
"car mei baat adhuri reh gy thi. Tum kuch kehna chahti thi".. He looked down at her and she snuggled closer.
He rubbed her back, poking her to speak. He heard some sobbs but decided to continue with rubbing her back, waiting for her to speak her heart out.
"sameer.. Aaj jab papa ghar aaye the..."
"hmm.." sameer fisted his hands in his mind. If safari suit had done or said something inappropriate to his wife, he sweared he won't leave him.
"toh bohat acha laga...Lekin kaash vo bacche ke hone ke baad aate"
"mai samjha ni?"

" unhe dekhkar naa jane kyu muje mera bachpan yaad agya. Unka rukha pann meri taraf, taiji ke taane, unki baatein ki mere janam lete hi kaisi meri maa.." she trailled off.. "sameer.. Mai janti hu muje yeh sab ni sochna chahiye lekin ek darr sa agya hai mann mei"

"k.. Kaisa darr?" sameer fumbled, trying to keep himself strong, because he knew in which way this conversation was going.

"sameer.. Delivery ke time agar... Agar muje kuch.. Kuch hogya.." sameer's hand instantly stopped there while naina looked up at him, waiting for him to scold her. Sameer closed his eyes for a second, making himself determined that he has to handle it with care.

He opened his eyes and looked down at her

"naina.. Aaj doctor ne checkup ke baad kaha tha ki koi complications ni hai. Sab normal hai. Fir kyu iss tarah ki be-fizool tension le rahi ho.." he said slowly in a low voice, emphasising on each and every word he said. Naina was shocked at his reaction. But decided to continue further.

She moved away a bit, holding her one hand out. " sameer mai janti hu ki yeh darr bas yuhi hai. Lekin muje ek promisse karo."

Without any questions, he holded her hand with a smile "bolo"

"ki agar muje kuch hua toh tum humare bachhe ko utna hi pyaar karoge jitna mere hone par karte. Kabi use yeh ehsaas ni dilaoge ki uski ismei koi bi galti thi. Duniya ke sabse ache papa bankar dikhaoge" as she said, she felt him shiver, his eyes downcast.

He immediately sat up "naina tum.. Tum please yeh baatein karna bandd karo."

Naina too sat beside him. "tum janti ho na, muje sab manzoor hai lekin tumhe khona ni".

"sameer mai toh bas..."

"janta hu naina, iss time par aise khyaal aa sakte hai. Khaskr tab jab tumne khud yeh sab dekha ho. Lekin tum bi janti ho bachpan se mai sirf pyaar ke liye.... saath ke liye tarsa hu. Ab jab humari family complete hone jaa rhi hai, tab tum..." He looked at her, and found her head lowered. No no no.. He have to get this fear out of her.

"agar mere iss promise se tumhari tension khatam ho jati hai toh theeke...i promise"

Naina immediately looked up and embraced him in a tight hug. Nobody smiled this time. Sameer assured himself that everything is going to be alright, and this phase would also pass while naina was relieved of this baseless fear.

"lekin agar uss time par muje tum mei or bacche mei se kisi ek ko chose karna hoga toh mai ek baar bi ni sochunga.." he promised himself in mind,unknown to naina.

Days passed by and naina's mood swings returned but in small ratios. Now she didn't use to crave for food but for sameer, for his company. But sameer wasn't able to fulfill it. He was doing this deliberately, though he wasn't liking it at all. He would do overtime to finish all his work and gave instructions and guidelines for upcoming projects, assigning head for each. He wanted to finish all his responsibilities so that he could be with naina for the next weeks and hopefully for the next month too :)

Whenever naina got cranky, or her back would ache, sameer would try to reach on time and give her the needed warmth. Her swellings in leg had increased and she was finding it more harder to walk. Though she was taking extra care of not doing much work, because as suggested by vishakha, she needed complete rest at this time.

As the week of delivery arrived, sameer and naina felt both excited and nervous. Sameer became extra cautious with naina, while handling her or her moods. Though she was a lot normal now, and her face was glowing.

The other day naina woke up to find her husband juggling with some bags, a suitcase, a handbag and a purse.

"sameer kya kar rahe ho?" she asked wide eyed as she sat up.

Sameer placed tha bags on bed and turned to her "good morning jaan! Tumhe kuch chahiye?"

"nahi par tum kahi jaa rahe ho?" she asked as he moved to the cupboard.

"mai? Nahi toh! Hum jaa rahe hai" sameer replied, as he started finding something in almirah.

"kya? Sameer tum pagal ho gye ho. Iss time par, jab delivery kabi bi ho sakti hai, tumhe vacation ki padi hai" she expressed unbelievingly

Sameer laughed and went to her, "arey vacation par nahi.. hospital. Hospital jana hai parso, toh bags pack kar rha hu" and he gave her some vitamins.

"par hospital toh 2 dinn ke liye jana hai. Yeh itne saare bags kyu?"

"naina tum bi na.. Buddhu ho. Dekho, ek bag humare kapdo ke liye, ek bag baby ke samaan ke liye, or ek bag baki ki cheezo ke liye" sameer explained.

Naina face palmed at this "lekin Mr. Maheshwari hume wahan sirf 2 dinn ke liye rukna hai.. 2 mahino ke liye nahi."

"Mrs.Maheshwari, agar delivery ke baad bi rukna pda toh? Ho sakta hai tumhe rest ki zaroorat ho." he reasoned.

"par sameer zyada se zyada 4 dinn ke kapde pack karne hai. Uske liye 3 bags ki kya zaroorat. Bekar hi tum pareshan hokar sab sambhalte firoge."

"par..."

"par var kuch nahi. Aisa karo sirf yeh purse or handbag rakho. Suitcase lekar jane ki zaroorat nahi hai.." she ordered.

"nainaaa.." and he trailled off as naina glared at him. " aagy ismei naina devi" he muttered and moved the suitcase to a side while naina suppressed her smile.

The packing started. This time it wasn't naina doing this but sameer. Naina was just sitting on the rocking chair, giving instructions.

"naina tumhare kapde pack hogye ab?"

"ab baby ke towels, kuch kapde, diapers or..." naina continued to blabber while sameer rushed here and there to pick up with her speed.

"done!" he said closing the bag.

"ab doosre bag mei mere kapde or kucch toiletries" he mumbled to himself

"toiletries kyu?" naina asked confused.

"arey wahan pta ni kaise soap use karte honge. Hum apne lekar jaenge toh zyada acha hoga" he said making a weird face. Naina laughed and got up to pull his cheeks "tum or tumhari hygiene"

"naina konsi shirts theek rahengi?" he said pulling out some and showing them to her.

"koi bi lelo sameer.. 15 minute se ek hi sawal kar rahe ho.."

"aise kaise koi bi lelu. Mera baby first time dekhega muje. Use bi toh pta chale meri dressing sense kitni achi hai" he said pulling up an invisible collar.

" sameer.." she laughed. "bachhe ki aankhein ek mahine takk kuch bi focus ni kar paati ..tumhe kaise dekhega vo.. . "

Oh! Sameer tried to argue "fir bi.. First impression is the last impression" he said and set about matching shirts with pants while naina shook her head.

As sameer closed the bag after packing , naina exclaimed "hey bhagwan"

Sameer almost jumped "kya hua?"

"vo sabse important cheez toh rakhna hi bhool gye" she said looking lovingly at him.

"kya?"

"camera buddhu" she said and got up to fetch it from the drawer.

"camera?"

"han.. Yeh yaadein humesha humare saath rehni chahiye. Har occasion par tum camera nikal lete ho. Honeymoon par ghar vapas gye the camera lene lekin itne important dinn ke liye tumhe camera yaad ni aya" and she packed the camera with baby's things. Sameer smiled, a flashback of all the memories came running to him. He then looked at his adorable wife, who was with him in all these times. And now, further, an addition would be there. He hugged her overwhelmed while naina reciprocated it with her eyes closed. They just can't wait now...

Next day.

"sameer.. Ice cream" naina pleaded again.

"naina nahi matlab nahi.." said sameer determined, very intelligently ignoring her pouty face which could crash his determination in a second.

"sameer kal hospital jana hai, uske baad pta ni kab mauka mile. Please le aao na" and she patted on his lap.

"nainaa.." vishakha called from the threshold of room.

"mummy ab please aap hi samjhao ise. Meri toh sunti nahi hai." sameer got up from the bed to avoid naina's poking hands.

Naina looked at them with a sad expression, and accepted her defeat with her head bent.

Sameer and vishakha exchanged some glances and vishakha too gave inn, pleading sameer with her eyes ." okay fine.. Le aata hoon." sighed sameer. When naina looked up instantly with a smile, sameer shook his head "meri baat ki toh koi value hi nahi hai". Vishakha and naina chuckled at this and sameer strolled out of the room.

"lekin usse pehle tumhe yeh apples khane honge" and vishakha sat down near her.

"thankyou mummy ji. Vo meri sunn hi nahi raha tha. Aap hi btaye ab delivery ke baad yeh sab allowed hoga kya?" naina complained

"beta vo bi apni jagah sahi hai. Use chinta hai tumhari. Vo ni chahta ki kisi bi naa samjhi ke karan kuch bi galat ho. Or firr dekha ni tumne kaise tumhara saath ek pal ke liye bi ni chorta." vishakha made her understand and fed her a slice of apple.

"vaise mummy ji aap use ek orr baat samjha sakti hai?"

"kya?"

"use kahiye muje kal hospital nahi jana. Doctor ne kaha tha ki delivery date parso ki hai or shayad ek do dinn aage bi ho sakti hai. Bekar hi hospital ka kharcha badega. Hospital yahan se 15 minute hi toh door hai." naina gave her point..

"par tumhe hi toh tension thi ki last minute.." naina cut her off "han par iska matlab yeh toh nahi ki mai hospital jakar baith jaau" naina made puppy face at this.."mai toh bas isliye chinta kar rahi thi ki agar uss time par sameer mere saath ni hua toh kaise sab manage hoga. Ab toh usne factory se bi chutti le li hai. Har pal saath rehta hai. Koi chinta hi nahi hai" naina tried her best.

"acha theek hai. Mai baat karungi usse..khush?" naina nodded and hugged vishakha.

"mai aati hu abi" and vishakha left.

Vishakha was throwing the apple peels in the dustbin when she heard naina screaming. She dropped the plate there and rushed to the room to find naina holding the handle of the cupboard, with one hand on her belly.

"aaah..mummy ji... Sameer.. Sameer.... Aah" she said, taking quick breaths, while vishakha rushed to give her balance.

"naina beta.. Aao. Aao baitho idhar." she panicked but was trying to act with presence of mind

Naina sat on the bed still screaming in pain"muje lagta hai time agya hai "vishakha mumbled while naina looked at her wide eyed. She wasn't ready..her mind wasn't ready and above all where is sameer. She mentally thrashed herself and her cravings for ice cream

" naina.. Take quick breaths.. "said vishakha, rubbing her back.. While naina did as she said but her pain was increasing.

" hey bhagwan. Ab kya karu. Sab market gye hai. Rohan bi preeti ko chorne gya hai.. Yeh sameer kyu ni aya ab takk" she panicked and naina's face was all covered with sweat.

"mummy ji... Sameer..sameer kahan.. Aah.."

"beta aa rha hai mai tab tak bahar koi auto ya taxi dekhti hu. Hume hospital jana hoga"

"nahi.. Mai sameer ke bina kahi ni jaungi" said naina, still trying to get a position to ease her pain.

"naina zidd matt karo. Vo aa jaega hospital." and she rushed to the phone to call the hospital to keep the room ready. As she cut the call, the door bell ringed.

When vishakha opened the door, sameer ran inside hearing naina's screams.

"naina.." sameer went upto her.

"sameer.." naina almost cried.

"sameer jaldi car nikalo. Naina ko abi hospital lekar jana hoga". Sameer just nodded. His mind was not in a position to relax or think abt anything. This was totally unexpected. He shouldn't have taken the small contractions in morning as normal.

He pulled the car out of the driveway and they both helped naina to settle in the car. "naina tension matt lo sab theek hoga..tum bas aankhein khuli rakhna" said sameer as he started the car. His mind could process some instructions as suggested by doctor if an emergency occurs. Vishakha kept wiping off the sweat from naina's face while sameer gave quick glances in between through the mirror. Naina just screamed pain. He wasn't able to see her like this. His all plans failed. So much had they done for avoiding any last minute rushes but it was fate, they had to land up like this. He just prayed to god that everything goes well.

As naina was being taken to the room on stretcher, sameer holded her hand all the way assuring her that he was with her. But the last words said by her as she was finally taken to the room and the door got close, took his breath away.. "sameer promise yaad rakhna".

His legs felt weak, mind went blank and he started shivering. As the doctor started to go inside, sameer immediately holded onn to her.

"doctor please kya mai bi naina ke saath reh sakta hu andar?"

The doctor looked at him as if he had grown horns " Mr. Maheshwari yeh aap kya keh rahe hai. Aajtak aisa kabi ni hua hai or na hi yeh allowed hai"

"doctor please! I request. Mera uske saath rehna bohat zaroori hai. She needs me doctor. Please" sameer pleaded with his hands joint.

It wasn't a surgery, or operation, just a normal delivery, the doctor thought and after few minutes instructed the nurse to give him proper sanitations and masks. Relief washed over sameer and he got ready to be with his wife in this time.

Vishakha had gone away to give a call to bela and anand as well as rohan, and so got confused on not finding sameer outside the room.

Sameer entered the room to find his wife changed into the gown. He had worn a mask and also naina was in so much pain that she was barely noticing her surroundings. But when sameer clasped her hand, she paused and looked at those dark brown orbs.

"sameer.." she gasped between her pains.

Sameer nodded, he controlled his tears which were threatening to fall anytime, because he was told to be strong and not emotional as it might stress her. So he sat on the stool next to her, holding her hand with both his hands. He had no idea, obviously, about what was going to happen or what was he supposed to do. He just wanted to be her support system. They had come a long way, yes 9 months is not a short time. They had lived this journey together. Then How could he be missing this moment when finally their wait would get over.

"mai hu tumhare saath... humesha" he said, blinking his eyes in assurance.

Naina was relieved, all her worries took a back stage. When she left his hand as she entered the room, a strange fear gulped her. She badly wanted him right there with her. And he sensed it. How could she forget, they are 'one' in every sense. Now she was ready to embrace this new phase with all her might. Some unknown willpower came inside her and she managed to pass a smile.

After doing certain arrangements, " ready naina?" doctor asked. Naina nodded pressing her lips in a thin line while sameer rubbed the back of her hand and in between caressed her forehead and temples. She started to push, ( i don't have any idea about how it goes, so please bear with me)

while sameer continued to cheer her and in between mumbled sweet nothings. His eyes were just focussed on naina's face, so that she could maintain an eye contact whenever needed. His hand was squeezed tightly by her while her other hand clasped the sheets or pillow. Two nurses were also there to help . Final push was given and naina screamed on top of her voice. As the baby was pulled out, naina's eyes wandered at it for a few seconds and then her eyes got closed. Sameer looked at the nurse worried, "don't worry. She is tired."

And then sounds of cries of baby reached his ears. He looked at the tiny figure in doctor's hands "its a girl" doctor said and gave her to the nurse for cleaning. Sameer smiled wide, and a tear escaped his eyes. He looked at naina, and kissed her forehead "i love you"

"i love you too" she mumbled softly, tears escaped her eyes too and she smiled, her eyes still closed "bola tha na ladki hogi" . Sameer chuckled resting his forehead against hers.

Doctor now instructed sameer to wait outside, and let naina rest while she would bring the baby soon. Sameer nodded reluctantly and left after giving a glance to naina.

"sameer tum andar the?" vishakha exclaimed shocked and others too looked onn.

Sameer removed the mask and cap and nodded "mummy ladki hui hai" his voice was heavy with emotions and hugged her. All rejoiced and started congratulating each other and simultaneously thanking god.

"congratulations jijaji.." preeti came to him and rohan, munna, pandit hugged sameer..

"lekin aap andar kaise?"

"maine naina se vaada kiya tha ki kabi use akela ni chorunga toh aaj kaise chor deta". All the family members looked at him in adoration and rakesh came forward and blessed him for the first time with complete acceptance.

Vishakha, bela and mamiji started conversing about the plans to visit temple while all the gents set about calling the near and dear ones for breaking the news. Munna and pandit bought the necessary refreshments while sameer just stared at door of the room.

"jijaji.. Bachhe ko kab lekar aenge bahar. Muje dekhna hai" preeti couldn't control her excitement anymore.

"aa jaenge.. Maine bi abi takk use theek se dekha ni hai.. Na hi pakda hai" he said, cherishing the very first sight of the baby. He was glad that they were the first one to witness this sight.

After half an hour, the baby girl was finally bought outside, wrapped in a white cloth. Everybody left their work and came forward to take her. "maa or bacchi dono healthy hai" doctor spoke. Since vishakha was standing just besides sameer, she extended her arms and doctor gave the baby to her. Sameer looked at his girl, she was so tiny. Her eyes closed, hands closed in a fist and mouth slightly open. His eyes watered but he then looked at doctor waiting, "aap ab naina se mil sakte hai par 2 at a time , she needs to rest". And doctor went away. Vishaka looked at sameer as he fidget with his fingers.

"sameer yeh lo, bacchi ko lo orr naina ke paas jao. Hum baad mei mil lenge" she said.

"nahi mummy aap jaiye"

"sameer.. Maa hu teri. Tera chehra padh leti hu. Kabse darwaze par nazre lagae baitha tha" and she extended the tiny girl to him.

"mai kaise.. Mera matlab hai.. Mummy.. Vo muje darr lag rha hai" and he bits his lips.

Eveyone laughed at this "sameer teri hi bacchi hai yeh. Ismei darr kaisa" said mamiji.

Vishaka guided him to place one hand under head and neck and the other on the back.

As soon as the baby came in sameer's arms, he felt complete. A relief that everything was sound and healthy got inflicted when the baby gave a small smile. He felt that he had known her for quite a long time. He stepped into the room, his eyes refusing to stop adoring the bundle in his hands.

"sameer"naina called out softly, and sameer finally looked up. Sameer's smile refused to give up, it felt as if his cheeks would start hurting now if he didn't stop.

" naina dekho na kitni nazuk hai yeh" said sameer as he made naina look at her. Naina nodded, if sameer hadn't stopped smiling, naina hadn't stopped crying since she gained her consciousness.

Sameer slowly handed over the baby to naina and baby on coming in contact with naina, immediately snuggled closer to her..

Naina and sameer both looked at each other surprised.

Sameer then sat beside naina and wound his one hand around her shoulders. He caressed her arms. Her face looked so weak and eyes held tiredness. But one look at the baby, and nothing could be compared to the smile she would give.

"sameer yeh itni choti hai ki muje darr lag rha hai ki kahi galti se zyada pressure se na uthalu ise" naina expressed her concern.

Sameer chuckled and then touched the baby's cheek lightly. "soft hai" sameer confirmed while naina shook her head disbelievingly.

"mummy Maheshwari ji ab aap rest kar liye or bache ko muje de dijiye" said sameer extending his hands to take her.

"papa Maheshwari ji mai theek hu. Aap ise mere paas rehne dijiye"

"naina do na please".

"nahi. Dekh ni rahe kaise chippak kar so rahi hai. Tum utha doge. Or fir ro padi toh?" naina reasoned.

"naina tum kuch bi keh rahi ho. Abhi mere paas hi thi vo"

"sameer"

"naina"

After battling for a bit, they both stopped when the baby's head squirmed a bit and she made a low sound . Both looked at each other and started chortling uncontrollably.

"bachhi hogy hai lekin hum abi bi bacche hai" said sameer in between his laughs.

"hum ni sirf tum" defended naina.

"tum.." sameer trailed off when naina shook her head in negation for not starting silly fights again. In some minutes of silence, they realised that now a lot of responsibilities are laying ahead. Its a new start now. They are parents. Now they have to act maturely on matters and be a kid only with their kid. They can't afford to have silly fights everyday, it would only disturb the environment.

Sameer then remembered something and immediately went outside. Naina was confused at this sudden move. But after a few minutes, sameer appeared with the camera.

"ab tum bhool gy thi" said sameer.

Sameer clicked snaps of naina and the baby and then together. Since naina can't get up, sameer took the baby from her and she clicked some by sitting there. Soon nurse came in, and she was requested for a family photo for which she happily agreed. After some 20 mins, naina asked sameer to call the other family members as well since they are waiting for so long now.

The family members met naina and the baby was passed from one to the other. Though after doctor's instructions too, all gathered in the room together in sometime. They started bestowing her with gold chains, money and many more presents.

Naina was apprehensive of mami's reaction but she looked happy which relieved her. Rakesh too shared some words and blessing with naina and took the baby in his arms. His eyes showed only love and no trace of anger.

When the baby was with rohan, preeti still continued to play with her little hands. Naina coughed a bit and preeti realised that she was a little to close to rohan and so moved away, though this didn't go unnoticed by vishakha.

I guess this was a fairly long update. Sorry for the delay. Its not the end. Since many of you wanted some moments after the pregnancy track, so i would include them in the next part. I am at short of words! Loved it...Sameer and naina are meant for eachother!! Preehan is happening! That care, that concern for naina during pregnancy by sameer is that every girl wants!! Sameer and naina both are lucky to have eachother!😇 Naina found her mother in Vishakha❤ and that moment when sameer,naina and their baby girl are together!!

But only one update! Surely miss this one... Eagerly waiting for the last one!! Uske liye hai besabri se intezar!
