It's been awhile since I've made a post here, and like many of you, am watching the show's quality tank more and more every day. There are still some positives: Characters are still loveable, and some scenes are quite nice - recently the editing has been better too, but why in God's name is Samaina's relationship not progressing?

Everything cannot be kai saalo baad - they should be talking about their experiences face to face too from time to time. Granted, the phone convos are still nice, but that isn't enough.

All those episodes on manhoosiyat, and there was no proper end to it - it was completely rushed. Then, there were so many episodes on freshers dance, rehearsals, etc. Yet no proper scene of Samaina when the track ended. And now, three episodes in a row on hair, shaving, etc. but Samaina are still only staring at one another. What is the point of introducing these tracks and topics if Samaina don't discuss them? - they are the lead characters after all. Their VO's talk more than they do.

There is so much chemistry between them but it's not being utilized. So many wasted opportunities!

😕

Awesome post dear.

CVs, people did have open discussions Undinon too.
And not once Naina asked Sameer how was the stay in Delhi or whether he is in touch with his family, does he miss Nanaji etc etc
All Naina cares now is to erase "Su" from "Sunaina" on the blackboard or look pretty in front of Sameer.
And every girl should drool over Sameer, isn't this a little too much.

Bold...thanx 4 pointing tis out...The first day she did it i.cud understand it was purely jealousy...but doin it again rather felt her behaviour to be obsessive ...Plain rude n brattish!!!..i wish makers tone down Nainas nature wit regards to this cos it isnt coming across funny or even pleasing to the eyes...i kno ppl in love are insecure ...but i found tis harkat absolutely mean !!
n yes Drooling of gals on Sam shud b reduced...i didnt like the gals flying kiss so openly displayed rite on his face wit the gang all sitting around...i wish Sam wud sunaofied her or even walked away ...Jus watching it silently also equates to actually njoying the attention!!

Such an apt post. So many repititive lines by VO and constant giggle. I mean why!? Have been watching this show since inception and really feel disappointed as to what it has become. Making some characters so weak and glorifying others at their expense is sad to see. Episodes were so crisp to the point initial 5-6m.. Have not much hopes left now. It's reflecting in the TRPs. The show requires some real restructuring from story point of view and needs to do away with D current filler episodes( though the topics taken are so real life but execution sucks) Sigh. Pls makers don't ruin it further.

I feel after Delhi return , staying almost 1 year apart, they did not had proper conversation or meet... not a single 1-1 even during bike ride they didn't show any conversation or since many days of college but no proper conversation...

I feel before going to Delhi episodes were really good.. now I have started missing 1-2 episodes and then catching up later through written updates... just my point of view... even in college they don't Get to talk 1 on 1??

What I feel is that they are no more showing issues what Sameer & Naina's relation went through those days. They are showing very generic issues and that's why missing those one to one quite personal talks. They need start focusing on Naina & Sameer. Jyada personal talk tao Shejun ko mil gaye jo ki side actors hai. I don't know why writers are not spending quality time and thought for Sameer & Naina's scenes.

Awesome post Neha !

The VOs were truly refreshing at one point. Just loved every word, the giggle, laughter they had. I remember how much we all used to analyze the voice overs too back in the good old days. I am not watching regularly because for me the continuity somewhere is lost and episodes feel like they are good only as standalone. I am happy reading the WUs. I especially cringe at Naina's VO these days when she giggles. I mean, even a mistake, happy everything there is a giggle. Is Naina so happy or a saint at the present that every mistake she can laugh off ?

The issues they are showing in college between Sameer and Naina are actually quite interesting but it seems very dragged, the school aged Sameer and Naina had such beautiful conversations and all now they are showing are superficial stuff between them. Seems interesting on paper but by the time it gets executed the essence gets lost in the process, only saving grace is the acting.
