Interesting topic!
I guess my major problem is aversion to change...I was and still am insecure about stepping out of my comfort zone.
I was always an introvert and slightly socially awkward,so meeting new people always felt like walking through hellfire😆
It was worse as a child, now,as an adult,I still feel awkward with new people and small talk,I just learnt how to hide it better!!😆

Nice topic. I don't know about the current teens in India, because I was un dino ke teen and have been staying outside India for the last 15 years. In those days, I was very thin, and being thin was not a fashion in those days, so got lot of comments regarding that! Hence all the time I used to concentrate on hogging and yet I used to be skinny!😆
I was in a engineering college, so did not have much exposure to girly talks. Throughout our teenage years, it was studying, cracking entrance exams and then the pressure of engg. studies. Looking after oneself started only after getting a job and that was a kind of a requirement as one needed to be presentable in the workplace.
