My First bike ride!

Watching Samaina's first bike ride together brought up so many old memories.. My personal love story also was in the 90s , late 90s but coming from a middle class family, there is a lot of similarities between Naina's issues and mine lol ...

I also didnt touch him for first few rides (He used to have LML Vespa Scooter). The scooter had a tire in the end where the seat ends.. So i would sit as close to the tire as possible... and hold the tire and the seat and never him... hahah😆😆 . So one fine day my then BF , now hubby, removed the tire from the back.. so that it forced me to sit close to him and hold on to him cuz there was nothing in the back! The roads were bad and he would ride faster than normal so in the end i did end up holding his shoulder and then gradually i moved to his waist and as time went on i was comfortable enough to just hug him from the back... 😳😳

I was just so so shy to look at him in the beginning of our relationship...😳😳 . I would blush so hard everytime he looked at me!!!

oh too many similarities with Naina and too many stories...

Awww this is so cute. Good to see them showing what happens in real life than creating filmy fantasies. This way more ppl can connect with this show. =')
I'm hoping for more samaina bike rides just like yours so naina can finally be comfortable enough to hold onto him. 😳

Do you guys still ride two wheeler??

No unfortunately we don't still do that! We are in the US now so no chance! And when we visit India we are too scared of the traffic now!!!!

Oh Bike rides were integral part of our dating phase.. coz our max dates were spent on bikes.. all our major critical talks and romance happened on bike... 😆

I too was very shy in holding him otherwise.. but ours being love story of 2000s and I being bolder than normal girls (and also becoz I proposed him).. the awkwardness or shyness of touching shoulders or holding hands was not there..

also I normally never sat side ways.. so no fear of falling.. but I had to take his shoulder to climb up..

Also I had a small sling purse and no point of using that small insufficient bag as shield..😆 though I kept a decent distance in public as he didn't like PDA

But I was still so innocent or may be shy to not understand his desires .. but he had upfront asked me to close in any distance..😆.. but I remember it took me a while to close in the distance.. and he still had to clearly state how close he wanted.. 😆

and when I was still shy and hesitant, he used brakes but I caught on to his shirt/Tshirt..instead of holding him 😆

So one day he just took my hands clutching his shirt and wrapped around himself...**I can laugh like Siddique at this desperate gesture now***😆

I was like Naina.. Bold only when situation demanded.. otherwise quite innocent nave and very hesitant and shy when it came to intimacy..

Also the other thing that I can relate to this show is boys watching *those* films with their boys gangs..

It was definitely not a yardstick of measurement of their sanskars (coz all of them r gentlemen) but it was just the age and they were boys and it was quite normal thing for any college going boy of that age in that era of limited information..

and he was lucky that I understood it/him and was actually stumped at me being so open and broad minded about such things otherwise and yet was so conservative when it came to values and sanskar..

Being frank and true was also a very imp basis of our relationship which samaina don't have bcoz of their story being a decade older than ours.. thy have more hesitation talking about "certain" things.. ya also may b bcoz of my nature or that of all the other girls in our gang.. we all are quite frank and open with our husbands.. in fact our husbands r our best friends and can share anything under the moon and sun with them..

I think thy will also highlight how in spite of being in the gang.. the individual couple never crossed the line and talked or discussed about each other's intimate moments openly.. obviously light hearted teasing is still on.. but that maryada in a relationship betn a Bhabhi and devars or friends and friend's wife or girlfriends is always maintained..

I dunno I think in our age there was right combination of frankness and maryada.. certain things we never did.. as it was against our value system..

also.. we were bold enuf to sleep in the same room alone at night.. but sensible enuf to never cross that boundary before marriage..

this can only happen if the couple has trust and understanding betn thm...and respect for each other's dignity and self respect..

humne to kabhi nahi suna ke shaadi se pehle pair fisal gaye.. jaisa filmo mein hota tha... 😆 though we all had lot of night outs/night stays..

I really miss those days.. and this serial has really made me all nostalgic of that time gone by..

Yes, this episode will be one of my favourites bcoz it brought back so many memories
