Just a general discussion.. we have seen many restrictions were there on girls unn dino but aaj bhot c chijen badal gayi hai ya hume lagta hai ki badal gyi hai but aisa kuch hai nahi..
Being an indian girl, living in a town in haryana, I also hv faced many restrictions for eg the top naina wore today..Noting wrong in that but yess I cant wear that top NOW here but I can wear any kind of clothes if I go in cities like delhi..

I feel it's not about girls it's about the thinking..The mentality of people which change from place to place.. Ye unn dino is a show which connects us to the reality of society ,the real people .. yes the people like taiji exist.. the people like tau ji who say 18 ki hote hi teri shadi kra dege ,they exist.. the motherly figure like bela chachi exists.. bas wo pyar hi kahin gum gya hai jo 90s me hua karta tha..Sorry diverted from topic😆

So u can share the restrictions u have faced as a girl..It can b any..

In today's episode, Bella chachi had represent a picture of true mother who wants to protect her child from anyone's anger.

Seriously samay ke sath logo ke beech Abhi waisa pyar nhi reh Gaya hai.

Coming to mentality of society, vo kabhi change nhi ho payegi. Nothing wrong with naina's dress instead tayiji had highlighted her by shouting at in market.
Log kapdo se kaise kisi ka character decide kar sakte hai ?

I guess more than mentality, its also about surrounding. Like I live in US and in summer my daughter wears this denim shorts which are short and she looks really awesome. Now in summer I am coming to India and my husband has clearly mentioned that she is not gonna wear this short in India as people and surrounding is not safe to which I agree too.

It's not just India.it is in america as well. In 2003, I had visited U.S. with my parents and there was a 25th marriage anniversary party. I had worn a nice decent sleeveless top and long skirt which covered everything except my arms. My dad had actually bought it for me. My uncle had been in US for 30 years and commented ' tu sleeveless pahenke jayegi party me?' .I was shocked at the narrow mindedness . What is interesting is that their kids grew up and were my age ,they were wearing strapless top, dresses and bikins .
The bottom line is even if.you take a person and put them.in a big city or even US where no one cares what others are wearing, the mentality of certain Indian men will never change.

I had many restrictions on cloths...infact still have.
I cant wear any western cloths.
only salwar's and churidar's...sleeveless and above knee length skirts are like complete no no.

but after marriage I was happy, my husband allowed me to wear jeans and skirts, but only during our honeymoon.
after we came back, its the same old dresses again. I still cant wear jeans because we stay with family. 😔

Naina is wearing the same dress she was wearing all these times. . Mundit also brought dresses like Akshay. And in many movies we saw dresses like Naina wore in different episodes. But the problem is Akshay also had some provoking dresses in some movies. Did they choose those? No. No one said no to Naina when she wore dress like Divya Bharti or blouse like movie stars. As those are style/fashion etc and normally we can go out with those dresses. There was nothing provoking in those dresses. Shefali wears short dresses all the time but those are not provoking, those are just short. tayeejee reacts but not this way.
Problem is not with style or fashion--------problem is provoking or not provoking. Naina got a dhulai from Sameer when she had that photo---------which was provoking. Sp when she will go out it is not Sameer only who will see her. Millions of other guys will see her and not every time mom/dad will be there to rescue her . I don't think even Sameer would accept what she was wearing yesterday. It was okay infront , but the back was a problem. Okay if she is a movie star or going to a high society party or even normal party. But wearing that one and running through the street without paying the money for that dress wasn't what a decent girl should do.
In fact Tayeejee was okay with her dress( at least 10%) , but she is offended that Naina ran from the store that way. If Naina had a mother she would also slap her. Think about the situation...she went to store, wear a weird dress and without paying the money ran to the street. Think how the shopkeepers behaved to Tayeejee/Chachi for this behavior. The shop keepers could call a police too. Today if someone do that...security guards will come and Naina would be arrested for shop lifting and yeh toh...uss jamana ki baat. Thappar kam hua and dhulai bhi kaam. Is jamana mein police case hota.
Naina behaved like a moron. Dewani baan ...but itni nehi. 😆 Just think what Taujee told" next birthday shaadi kara dungi." 😆😆 This was left. And Naina made that. This is not only about dress...it is about stealing the dress.
I will not support Chachi this time. She is wrong and Tayeejee is right this time. You don't say okay to your daughter when she takes a dress from a shop and run from there without paying the bill or asking mom"can I buy this?"
Tayeejee for once is right. Bella is over pampering Naina.

As for me, I wear anything I like although I belong to a conservative family and other girls in my family are not okay to wear dresses like me. The reasons behind this according to my elders is that "As long as you can protect yourself ...you can wear whatever you want" ...I am strong and I usually take care of myself very well. 😆

The reason why Shefali got this freedom are-------
1. She earns her own money.
2. She lives alone in that house.
3. She is not only good in outside works she is also good in house works.
4. She is a strong girl who plays cricket. Ek thappad diah toh sab bhag jayega...😆
Does Naina has any of thsi qualities? She needs family to buy a shoe...can't cook or repair scooty. Kahan Naina and kahan Shefali.
