Wanted to make this post long back but didnt get the time...My daughter too is a fan of YUDKBH...she didnt missed one single episode of mawali track...While a casual talk after the episode..I just told her why Sameer is getting himself into this...the answer I received was like..
Mummy did u observed carefully...
1. He didnt tease any girl, he just help his friend who was getting bitten.
2. He always respected women
3. He didnt drink...there were bottles...he didnt had a single sip
4. Watch carefully..he didnt smoke with this Mawali group...not even once
5. He didnt even read the magzines

Nothing he did...he was confused in his life...and we always get confused in our life

When she saw M & P guiding him...she said see I told you he just needs to be out of his confusion and follow right path

Adding to that she said...but Sameer can do fun with only MunDit he is s not that seedha...Kamya ko kaise dekha usne MT maine, he even brought something to drink, Smoke bhi kiya unke saath

Basically she was trying to distinguish real friends with whom we can do anything...because we know we will never cross our limits and nor our friends will allow or do so

I was overwhelmed with her observation and onething I understood that this show is magic and even childrens can relate to there life and reality

She just love Ashi/Naina and Randeep/Sameer, Preeti, Mundit and every character of this show...she says they are very true to there heart

Not really dear...there were spoiler pics that showed him smoking n the VO himself said that cigarette na peene ka vaada main kabka tod chuka tha...
saath hi kuch naye shauk bhi paal liye the...as he was clearing the beer bottles n the magazines...
n the way that guy offered him to drink to cool himself when Mundit came...it seemed it was already into it...
but the point abt real friends was right n I never minded him doing such things with Mundit.

Yes, this show is really a learning experience not only for kids but for mothers also. I started watching this show because it was making me relive my teenage. Later on it started teaching me a lot. My son is a 16 year old teenager. One statement from mawali gang was instigating Sameer. He is not a man, still a kid. And all teenagers used to get irritated with this. This made me talk with my son and open up on how he is interacting with his friends. This is helping me to understand my son more. All thanks to this show.

But the VO clearly say that Cigarette na peene ka waada main tod chuka tha, which clearly mean that even if nothing else he has smoked. Plus there is no reason why the books or bottles would be in his room when he doesnt use it, it isnt that Mawali gang comes to his place daily

Yes he just lost his path being alone in that city. Everyone's behaviour and loneliness make him to search for someone's presence in his life. He was confused the company he was getting is right or wrong. Sometimes we have also faced in our life, to be the part of the group we do whatever our group says. Like peer pressure. That Sameer was facing, peer pressure to be in part of that group.
