Dreams Don't Lie!!

I have been wondering why this FB , I felt it was forced into the episode. That's when I thought of watching that scene again. I wondered was it Flash back or was it a dream. I think what started as thought before sleep , moved on to becoming a dream that Sameer dreamt about him and Naina.
Most of the times our dreams are linked to our conscious and subconscious mind which shows what we experienced entwined with what we desire/fear/hate etc. So if we look at the dream.

His dream

We See Naina with a Balloon in a very happy frame of mind. Here the colour is Yellow , which represents favorable situation. What we see is him breaking it. She feels sad , but the moment she gets sad and upset . He understands his mistake and brings more, balloons making her happy. Here Balloon represents an inflated feeling of happiness and love that Naina has blown out, for her because of their love. When she tries to share this with Sameer is , he breaks this feeling and brings her to reality...rather broke the bubble in which she was living.. This saddens hers, but her sadness is not something that he can take so he brings more balloons for her to be happy. Here the color of balloons are white , pink, yellow and red ( White represents peace /spiritual, Pink represents affection in relationship, yellow an omen for favorable situation in life and red shows passion /intimate relationship fondness ). In her happiness lies his happiness. We understand this , because Sameer is feeling happy seeing a happy Naina with all those balloons.

The next part of the dream, shows Naina tying their shoe lace together. That's trying to tie him with her. I would see it as not letting him go and both try to move only end up loosing balance. Sameer doesn't like her tying him down and gets angry. He unties it and breaks free from her hold. She feels bad but realizes he needs his freedom, so lets him walk away but to get back to him, to shower her affection and he accepts it by snatching the bubble maker from her. Here he wants to be tied to her but a part of his mind also liked the freedom that he experienced today and he wants to experience more of today even thou it means going away from her . He also knows that his Naina will get him back and his happiness is with her

Why Balloons ?? When someone dreams balloons it also shows that they might have had a difficult childhood..or never got to live their childhood as a "child...or never got affection that a child needs to get or never got to enjoy the childhood like normal kids do etc...

Her Dream

She sees him locked in a dark room shouting for her to rescue him out of that place. She sees him trapped , stumbling and getting hurt. He is alone and scared. The distance between them is affecting her . She knows that she is far away from him and if he is in trouble she wont be able to help him. She also knows that he is bound to get trapped soon in something that is unpleasant because she is well aware of his dark side of the character and his weakness. She fears, it might push him to the dark zone even if he doesn't want to. She knows he was not completely healed before he left for Delhi. Its this fear that lead her to dream of him in a closed space. She gets up from her sleep with a realization that he is not in a very happy zone. The only thing that she could do was to reach to THE OMNIPOTANT source of power who has the capacity to change things in this world Yes !! she turns towards her GOD to help him and guide him to light.

Now that we have analysed their dream , we also got an insight into their conscious and subconscious state of mind...so you know what to expect in the coming episodes ..rt?? Because dreams don't lie !!

Makes so much sense. I also think it was dream and not FB cause Sameer's hair was short and how in the world can they romance so freely in school with people around including Rakesh and Arjun.

Initially even I thought it was a FB. It began with her thoughts while trying to sleep which drifted into a dream. I liked the way they showed both their dreams in one stretch. It began with his dream , ending up in hers awakening her from her sleep to a very depressing reality.

To realize , someone needs to break both their bubble. Sameer has issues with his parents that needs to be solved . He has not done that . He is acting to be good , this can be understood the way he looks at Dhadhi . But there is a nice side of him who wants to be good. The so called conflict of interest has to be sorted with in himself first before he tries to sort it out with his parents.

Naina is so blind in love that she is not seeing the challenges. But her subconscious mind is warning her which is understood from her dream. She knows the dark side of his character and what happens to it when he is left alone. Very nicely shown .

Oh... I never thought of it this way... So it was a dream and not a flashback...! 😲

Yes , it does falls perfectly in place. So his dream coincides with Naina's happy imagination where we got to see him in different roles...that can be related to the color of balloons that he gives her to make her happy...it states different feelings/emotions that this relationship will see which will make her happy...Her blowing the balloon is the inflated state of mind she in ...and he is well aware of it...which is also scaring him...and hence it was accompanied by her tying the shoelace and him freeing himself from her hold. so their dreams /imaginations are all interlinked.

A very different and interesting way to look at the episode. Thank you for sharing. Loved it!
