Part 1
Naina comes to the studio for getting her photographs clicked. Photographer gives her instructions. Naina rehearses various poses.
Narrator-- This was the gift i wanted to send Sameer, my own photo so that he can remember me and look at me while remembering. Those days getting clicked was difficult, but today every hand has a camera and every app can make a photo look better. Those days had to get the best pose for a photo as every photo was separately charged.
BG- Bahut pyaar karte hain tumse sanam.
Naina is smiling as she leaves the photo studio, remembering Sameer.
While in Delhi, Sameer is at dining table. Bobby talks about how Delhi becoming a separate State would affect his business. He inquires about Nanajis property and will. Vishakha informs that Nana has bequeathed his property to Sameer. Deepika and Rohan come and greet Vishakha. She greets them calling them my kids and asks them to get fresh. Sameer takes rice and dal and starts to eat. Vishakha asks if theres a hurry. Sameer says yes, just like that. Vishakha asks him to eat with ease. Vishakha says feel like your planning to go somewhere? All luggage is scattered on the bed. Sameer says cupboard is stuffed so. Deepika comes and wants to sit beside Vishakha but Rohan sits there and Deepika sits beside Bobby. Dadi says see how one day Sameer din get to eat, he is here at the dining table on time. Sometimes to teach kids a lesson, we need to give them a bitter pill. Vishakha says Sameer is stubborn not stupid. Servant comes and tells Dadi that he made loki ka kofta for her. She says wow i love it and so does Rohan. Sameer says i love tindi. Dadi is feeding Rohan but finds long hair in the kofta curry. She fumes on the servant and asks whose hair is it? Servant says my hair is short and says everyone has short hair except Sameer. Sameer says even Dadi and Vishakha have long hair. Dadi says mine and Vishkhas hair is much longer. This is your hair in Rohans food. Vishakha says good Dadi saw. Dadi says hair will keep falling everywhere. Mr. Saxenas son was admitted coz of this type of thing. I cant afford taking such risk for Rohan-Deepika. She tells Sameer to think of her familys reputation and not keep such long hair as long hair is kept by roadside people. Sameer says no one can touch my hair. Bobby says u look like a wild man. Cut your hair to look decent. Vishakha says will explain him. Sameer refuses to budge and says know very well who is doing all this. He looks accusingly at Dadi who smirks in return.
Sameer throws out battery from the walkman and is about to throw the walkman. He runs into Amrita who teases him. She asks him why his cheeks are red? Sameer recalls Naina saying same thing to him. He is lost in thoughts. Amrita says got battery for the walkman. Sameer refuses but she insists and fills the battery in the walkman. Amrita puts the song on and its Bahut pyaar karte hain. She says my fave too. Amrita asks the name of Sameers Madhuri. Sameer says nothing like that. She insists.
Part 2
Sameer asks about a gift shop nearby? Amrita teases him saying nice getting gift for me. Sameer is stunned. Amrita offers to accompany Sameer to buy gift for his girlfriend. He says first time met someone with a heart in Delhi. Sameer is looking at the gifts. Amrita says wrap urself and send. Sameer says want to surprise her. Amrita says on first anniversary ur gifting ur girlfriend by paying her a surprise visit. She will be so happy. Amrita then suggests to take her along to annoy Naina. Sameer asks if she is always this crazy.
Part 3
Sameer tells Amrita that i want to give her something that will make her smile and seeing her smile, all my stress disapperas. When Naina smiles feel like someone is playing music and when she laughs, feel like temple bells are ringing Her eyes.. He keeps raving about Naina. Amrita listens lovingly. She says Naina is so lucky. Wish i had such a loving boyfriend. She asks him if he has a brother? So she can set him. Sameer asks for gift idea. He notices imported Chocolates.
Narrator-- Those days anything having imported tag, it became special. Using imported word gave weight-age. Those days imported chocolates were difficult to get. Thats why i got imported things for the one who is most important for me. My Naina.
Amrita asks Sameer if he is nervous? Sameer says excited. She asks if she can come along to meet Naina. Sameer says sure.
BG-- Aye mere humsafar. Sameer packs his bag to leave for Ahmedabad while Naina is writing a letter to him. She posts the letter. Sameer keeps showing off his long tresses as Dadi keeps fuming. Naina is upset and breaks down. Pandit-Munna watch Naina crying and feel bad. She is drinking water and the sun gets in her eyes. She imagines Sameer nearby but its Pandit-Munna who cover her face. She crosses the dates on the calendar. Sameer watches Vishakha with Rohan-Deepika and feels hurt. He ends up spilling water on the table and walks off. Swati tries to cheer Naina. Pandit-Munna try hard to cheer Naina up but she keeps sulking. Amrita gives Sameer gift for Naina, a pair of earrings.
Naina runs into Tayji who glares at her and makes her greet her. Naina smiles seeing a bike and thinks its Sameers but its Munna-Pandit. Amrita gives Sameer Nainas letter. He is delighted. Naina keeps caressing the calendar as the date of their first anniversary arrives.
Precap --- Sameer is standing in front of Naina. Sameer says its my mistake i came from so far to meet you from Delhi. Sameer walks off as Naina breaks down in tears.
