Loved reading your post. Superb analysis.. Realized that --to me the discomfort to the track is because the Somanis are as alien to us as they are to Sameer. Would like to see what kind of character progression writers will attempt for them.

Brilliant analysis

We need to give some time for things to unfold in this track... We are not able to see sameer in misery... Even during his stay at agarwals he had to go through lots of humiliations... Bt then that time he had mundit always with him... Nw even that support is gone and its hard for viewers to take it... Also we always had a negative image of somani in mind and dadi also joining the bandwagon its become more difficult for the viewers...

Giving this track time to unfold is the best way... Now that sameer is out of his shock and back to senses, he has already started defending himself... Two instances proves that... One was when he told vishakha that rohan's scheduled life doesn't have any place for him and neither he has any place for rohan in his life... Second one was yesterday when he gave it back to dadi for calling him mehmaan. This only proves that he can fight his own battle... He bas started trying to get in touch with naina and also rememberxs his time spent with his friends... As u said half battle is already won.

I believe dadi's taunts will work as a catalyst for sam to do better in his life... He'll try to prove that he's no less than anyone... He'll study well and do good in academics... As we say actions speak better than words... He'll be able to shut dadi's mouth by this... He also will get serious in life as there is noone to support him in the somani house... For him to become capable of handling Nanu's business, he'll have to do well in academics... Also we know he wont let his nanu down ever.

A well done stunt by stuntslady Rekha when the finest actors looked confused.Beautifully articulated post.👏👏

Ironically, someone who says "out of their element" in the latter sense is, according to him, out of HIS element (he is intending to call someone out when in reality he is exposing the fact he doesn't know how to use that phrase properly) And so when Visakha tries to make Sameer comfortable by promising him to be served with Ahmedabad dishes,Dadi suddenly found that this was going ''out of Somani's element." Really loved how everyone's ''out of elements'' are going to have a fine friction and that would bring subtle changes in characterizations.

I am fine with this track until they don't drag the episodes with forced taunts and editing flaws that hinder a flowing narrative.

Gripping narrative is my want in present times and that achieved I am strong enough to see both pining for each other with hits.misses,rebukes and falls.

I was fine with everything from the episode yesterday except for Rakesh's scene. Why so much dislike for Sameer ? Just so that we know he will never accept Sameer as his SIL ?

Hey Thanks Mehar...Glad you liked the post... Its not that I don't see the obvious glitches and there are many creeping in to be honest but this track will test the creatives the most and how well they try to avoid the obvious cliches will show their grip on the narrative...😊

@underlined...True...no story can progress in a straight line. The plot can be straightline but its narration cannot be...

@bold...that would be normal progression.. I think Laizu described that situation perfectly...they are distant but not in an island. So, they will find ways to bridge the distance...over time and hopefully in organic ways..

We as viewer need to have patience and see how story will unfold .

@bold... My sense is the backstory will take sometime to unravel...that wont happen immediately. However, we will start to get some clues..more in the nature of speculation. We had Nanu telling Vishaka...you have to be what I was to Sameer...this obviously means that even Sameer is unknown for Vishaka so their bond will take some time to develop. The one thing we need to accept is that if Vishaka became the friend that Nanu wanted her to be...the roadblocks to this story will disappear from this end. The other end is anyway not much of an issue...What is more important is if the creatives can justify to the viewers organically why Vishaka is unable to be the support that she may want to be for Sameer.

I agree...our sensibilities may differ on some tracks and its approach yet we must look for the message the track is trying to project. If we are convinced about that...we can find the next part of the journey interesting.

Perhaps the beauty of the promised proximity has made this sudden separation a difficult time for the viewers. Yet, it is clear to see that the makers could not have sustained the physical proximity further much before bringing this separation. If they had to be in the same city, they would have found means to be together in some way or the other...but logically what could they have shown? a few dates on the sly? 😉
