Note:- Ok guyz, I did tell that I will complete the story in this last part, but since I have alway sloved writing court room dramas, kuch jyada hi likh diya mene, it will take more two to three parts to end the story!! One more thing since the main theme of my story is this case,the story whould revolve around court for next two to three updates, you will see less of samaina, but you will see a complelty different naina!! Since I just went into the flow and have streched the courtroom drama a bit more in a dramaticway please let me know if you get bored of the stretching at any point of time!!
And I promise LongUpdates as well!!
Chapter 20
It was 7 a.m in the morning, everyone was tensed, nobody could sleep well that night and moreover naina had not returned home last night, though when enquired about her absence preeti got to know that her dad knew where naina was!! Munna, pandit, swati and preeti all reached sameer’s place at 8 a.m, the hearing was at 10 a.m!! And here our mr.maheshwari was sleeping peacefully leaving all the tension aside!!
Swati:- “Hum sabka tension se bura haal hai and yaha Mr.romeo apni Juliet k khwabo me khoya hua hai, aur Juliet hai jiska ata pata nahihai!!1”
Preeti:- “Aur nahi to kya pagal hum hi hai idhar”
Pandit:- abhi uthata hu is nalayak ko!!” Munna and pandit get abucket full of cold water and throw it on sameer, he wakes up with a jerk!!!
Sameer:- “what the hell, kya yaar galat time pe entry marte ho tum bhi, bas naina ha hi bolne wali thi aur hum k…….” he stops seeing swati and preeti there!!
Munna:- “aur hum kya sameer” teases him
Sameer:- “Preeti, swati tum dono subh subh yaha kya kar raheho??”
Preeti:- Movie dekhne aye hai, sameer the sleeping beauty”
Swati:- “Aur tumhe neend se uthane koi tumhari princess ake kiss nahi karne wali!!’
Sameer:- “tum logo karne do tab na” (he murmurs)
Pandit:- “Kuch kaha tune”
Sameer:- “Nahi mere baap, jao sab neeche me tyaar hoke ata hu!”and sameer gets ready and comes down!!
Sameer:- “Chalo breakfast karte hai!!”
Preeti:- “Sameer, kya tumhe pata hai naina kaha gayi hai???”
Sameer:- “Are ha me puchne hi wala tha, naina seedha court aarahi kya, tumhare sath kyu nahi ayi???”
Preeti:- “Sameer, kal k event k baad me naina se nahi mili hu,vo ghar nahi ayi kal raat!!!”
Sameer, Munna and padit together:- “What, aur ye tum hume ab bata rahi ho!”
Sameer:-“Tumne call kiya that use, kaha gayi hai vo, kahi kuch……nahi nahi….kamya….nahi nahi, chalo dhundna hoga hume use!!”
Preeti:- “Sameer sameer, Relax!!! Mene kaha vo gharpe nahi hai,but papa ko pata hai kaha gayi hai, n papa ne kaha hai me tension na lu vo seedha court aa jayegi!!”
Sameer:- ok to chalo court chal te hai!!”
All of them reach court.Today there were many people at court. The whole of agarwal clan, the mehra’s (vishaka”s family), most of the maheshwari staff and obviously the media!! And here enters Kamya!!
Kamya:- “So sameer, all set to go to jail??”
Sameer:- “Kamya sapne ise dekho jo pure karne k takat rakh sako!!”
Kamya:- Meri hi takat k wajah se aaj tum yaha ho, ek baar jail ja aye ab meri hi takat tumhe permenantely jail bhejegi!”
Sameer:- “Galat femiya palne k adat hai tumhe, me aaj yaha tumhari takat k wajah se nahi mere low confidence k wajah se hu!! Ha manta hu thoda hil gaya tha confidence, but fir sameer k 5 pillars aa gaye use sambhalne, in 5 pillars k hote hue koi bhi buldozor mera kuch nahi bigad sakta,sambhal ke rehna kahi buldozor apni disha change karke tumhari taraf na aye!!”
Kamya:- “Bhaut bhorosa hai tumhe dekhte hai, I promise tumse milne jail me zarur aungi”
Sameer:- “Sambhal jana, kahi apna ghar mat bana lena jail ko,wahi mat bas jana!!”
Kamya:-“ Sameer you……”points finger and moves closer to sameer, but swati and preeti come and stand in front of sameer!!!
Preeti:- “apni lambi nak(nose) aur kadvi jaban(tounge) leke chalti bano yaha se”
Swati:- “Varna ab hamari takat dekhogi tum!!”
Kamya get very angry and leaves from there, saying:- “I will see you sameer”
Munna:- “Are ja ja Chudail”, Pandit:- “Bhootni”
Chachaji comes to sameer:- “Apna bhorosa mat khona sameer, you will walk out today, upar wala bhi uska sath deta hai jo sahi ho, daro mat himmat rakho!!”
Chachiji:- “Aur fir hamari naina to hai hi, kabhi nahi harti vo, No 1 hai meri beti” she announces prodly!!
Sameer:- “Exactly chachiji, ek to mere pass aap sabka ashirwad upar se bestes best naina, fir me tension kyu lu, sahi na!”
Munna:- “Muje to vo kamya dikh rahi hai jail me, haaaye kya nazara hai, white saare me chudail vo bhi jail me kaid!!”
Pandit:- “Aur muje vo malhotra ki haari hui shakal dikh rahi hai, hamari naina aaj history jo likhegi use harakar”
And there comes naina:- “Khuli ankho se sapna dekhna band karo aur chalo time hogaya hai hearing ka!’
She sees sameer and gives a broad smile, sameer smiles back and was over happy seeing her safe!! Swati and Preeti hug her tightly!!Nobody asked her where she was as they trusted her, all her friends were just happy seeing her safe!! Naina takes blessings of all her elders and enters the court!!!
Mr.Malhotra:- “So all ready to loose??”
Naina:- “I know Mr.Malhotra you are eager to witness yourself loosing for the first time, but don’t be so desparate, not atleast in public,you see not good for your image!”
Mr.Malhotra:- “Says a girl who doesn’t have any proof!!This is court Naina agarwal, yaha jazbaat, emotions, bhorosa ye sab nahi sabot kaam atehai!!”
Naina:- “Aapke pass to hai na saare proofs, koi baat nahi us se hi kaam chala lenge”
Mr.malhotra could not understand anything and was about to ask, but then judge enters!!
Judge:- “Let the court begin!”
Mr.Malhotra:- “My lord, the case is crystal clear, acused Mr.Sameer maheshwari, the CEO of Maheshwari Garments, oops sorry clothing as well now, used his higher postion to physically abuse my client!! He tried toharm her dignity, such a person does not have the right to stay in the society ,we demand life time prision for him!!”
Naina:- “Mr.Malhotra (she says sarcastically), a lawyer likeyou should know, the court doesn’t work on jazbaat, emotions, it demands proof,please prove it to the court that your client was physically abused!!” (andnaina winks at malhotra as she uses his owns words for him only know),mr.malhotra was shocked by naina’s counter attack but he composed himself!!
Mr.Malhotra:- “Postion/state my lord, The state of my clientwhen she walked out of Mr.maheshwari’s cabin on that dreadful day!! Her statewas noticed by everyone that day, but since our very own Miss.Agarwal wantsproof, I would like to call upon Mr.Rakesh, who is an employee at Maheshwarigarments in the witness box as my first witness!”
The person in the court:- “Mr.Rakesh Hazir ho!!!”
Mr.Malhotra:- “So Mr. Rakesh plz let the court know what didyou see that day!!1”
Rakesh:- “Sir, I wasgoing to sameer sir’s cabin when I collided with kamya, her state was miserableyour honour, her clothes were torn, she had bruises on her face, she was cryingbadly, she was trying to cover herslf with her hands, I first made her sit andwe all gathered around her, when she told us that sameer sir had physicallyabused her, we all were shock would be an understatement your honour, as kamyawas telling us everything sameer sir came there angrily looked at her angrily,poor soul and left from there, her state was miserable your honour any bodycould see how cruely she was abused!!”
Mr.malhotra:- “So my lord, you can clearly understand that if aperson could not even see her in that state, what must have she suffered therein!! you wanted proof na miss.agarwal, here is your proof, please goahead andquestion him!” Malhotra thought bolti band hogayi hogi naina k, and she mightnot get up for counter questioning, but Mr.malhotra doesn’t know our nainaagarwal!!
Naina:- “Thank you for your courtesy Mr.malhotra, so Mr. Rakeshsince I am a bit slow at understanding things will you please repeat the entireincidence once again!!”
Mr. malhotra:- “This is wasting time of court my lord, he just explainedeverything, Miss agarwal should have been more focused!!”
Naina:- “If he did so, then whats the harm in repeating, it isway to relevant my lord the court will understand onces he starts!!”
Judge:- “Mr.malhotra, they have the right to counter questionany witness, let Miss.agarwal do her Job!!”
Naina:- “Thank you my lord, soMr.Rakesh please repeat what you just said!!”
Rakesh :-“ I was going to Sameer Sir’s cabin…………….”
Naina:- “Please take a note my lord, he was going toMr.maheshwari’s cabin, he was already not here, contine!!”
Rakesh:- “she was covering herslf with her hands, I made hersit!!”
Naina:- “Also note this my lord, the girl whose dignity wasruined instead of first going and covering herslf, she sat there to explain whathappened. She could have first covered herslf your honour and then enlighteneveryone about the happening!! ” So after rakesh finishes his entire story againpointing out two points naina says:- “So Mr. Rakesh you saw everything aftershe came out from my clents cabin, so what happened in the cabin no one haswitnessed it, she can tear her own clothes my lord!!”
Mr.malhotra:- “Is this a joke, being a woman yourself , how canyou even think of this, why would a women play with her own dignity, this is utter rubbish!!”
Naina gets angry and shouts:- “ This is not utter rubbish mylord, and where the question of Mr.malhotra arises that how can a women playwith her own dignity, I would answer that as well with time!! So Mr.Rakesh canyou recall where all did you see the bruises on kamya’s body??”
Mr.malhotra:- “what type of question is that!!”
Judge:- “Objection sustained!!”
Naina:- “Thank you my lord, so Mr.rakesh where did you see thebrusies on her body!!”
Rakesh:- “She had it on her face!!”
Naina:- “Face right, only face??”
Rakesh:- “Ya!!!!”
Naina:- “Point to be noted my lord, if clothes were tornphysical assault was done, then why were there no brusies on her body???? SoMr. Rakesh is it true that few months back Mr.Maheshwari had insulted you infront of the whole staff and if it is true, court whould like to know thereason for the same!!”
Mr.malhotra:- “objection my lord!! How is this connected to ourcase my lord!!”
Naina:- “Kitna objection hai mr.malhotra apko, trust your ownwitness atleast!1 (she laughs)
Judge:- “Objection sustained”
Rakesh:- “Yes he did insult me, but I was at fault and hence hedid that!!”
Naina:- “I am surprised you spoke the truth, bt anyways whywere you at fault??”
Rakesh now understood he was trapped, he couldn’t lie now “Iuse to like one of our female employees and I tried to ask her out!!”
Naian:- “Truing to ask her out or harassing her?? Rakesh hadirritated that female to the core and when sameer got to knew about it, heforced rakesh to tie rakhi on her hand and consider her as his sister(nainalooks at sameer, both look at each other remembering how once naina was forcedto tie rakhi to sameer and somehow they escaped, she laughs a bit and so doessameer, but then she continues), just to give her respect and dignity sameerdid this and this court is accusing him of ruining a womman’s dignity, likereally?? My lord how can we consider rakesh statement to be true, he has amotive to take revenge from Mr.maheshwari and what could be more relevant thanthis, I would just like the court to take a note of this as well, thank you mylord!”
Rakesh leaves the witness box, Mr.malhotra:- “ therewere other employees as well who saw kamya’s condition and symphatized her!!”
Naina:- “So get them to the witness box Mr.malhotra!!”
Mr.Malhotra:- “ Fearing Mr.Maheshwari will remove them fromtheir jobs no one is ready to stand for truth my lord!!”
Naina:- “To stand for truth Mr.malhtora, like really they arealready with the truth, nyways Mr.malhotra I guess you are ageing na, hence youtend to forget hings, if Mr.maheshwari is held guilty, the company whould as itis close, then where whould their jobs go, what are they fearing then!! NywaysI whould like to call Miss.isha in the witness box!!”
The person in the court:- “Miss.Isha hazir ho!!”
Naina:- “So Miss.Isha would you like to tell the court, whathappened that day??”
Isha tells the same story which rakesh told but then shecontinues “we all were utther shocked your honour and that is true, but jadge sahib,I am no one to judge anyone, but working with sameer sir and kamya past 3years, I can say one thing, sameer sir cannot do this, he is innocent!!”
Mr.Malhotra:- “No body is asking your opinion, just say whatyou saw that day!!”
Judge:- “I suppose thatis my line Mr.Malhotra”
Naina:- “Thank you for your opinion Miss.Isha, but you seeMr.Malhotra would want proof, so why do you believe that sameer sir of yours isinnocent, what proof do you have!!”
Isha:- “I have no proof my lord, but sameer sir has beenhelpful to many people in the company, he has many time fought for our dignity,in our office no nonse behavior is toleratewd from male employees towardsfemale employees!! We feel safe at working at Maheshwari Garmnents because ofSameer Sir!!”
Naina:- “Thank you Miss.isha, no more question from my side!!”
Mr.malhotra:- “So miss isha, you seem to very much impressed byyour boss or say influtated”
Naina in her mind as expected reaction!!
Mr.malhotra:- “So Mr.Maheshwari is just your boss??”
Isha:- “No sir you are correct, he is more than a boss!!”
Mr.Malhotra without listening to Isha further “See my lord theraas leel, mr.maheshwari plays in his office, how is this environment worthworking??”
Isha:- “Sir by more than boss, I meant a brotherly figure gormany of us, and a son to few!!”
Naina could not control and laughs loudly, after realizing “Sorrymy lord that was unintentional!”
Mr.malhotra on other side was fuming with anger, he did not know what t do “Soseems Mr.Maheshwari follows the pledge of India very strictly, all Indians aremy brothers and sisters, and so to fulfill your wishes then you take such stepsof physical assault!!”
Sameer:- “My lord If I am allowed to speak, yes I strictly followThe pledge of our country strictly at my work place, every person is my brotherand sister at work place!!”
Naina:- “And outside his office what he does is not the pointof our discussion Mr.malhotra, so please stop wasting the precious time ofcourt and ask your further questions to Isha!1”
Mr.Malhotra had no questions to be asked, he was worryingfor his win noiw!!
Thecase was catching fire more now, it was becoming very inrsting, sameer’sinterview had people think about he being innocent, but way naina was fightingpeople were curious to know the truth, the public reviews were as follows
Person 1(Male):- “The truth should be out, sameer maheshwariis known for his character,I am sure he is innocent!!”
Person 2(Female):- How can a male understand what afemalegoes through whe her dignity is ruined!1”
Person 3 (Female):- “But that does not give right to misuseher dignity card!”
Pesrona 4(male):- I really like the way miss.naina isfighting, y always females digity is more important, we males don’t havediginity or what!!”
Naina’s counter attack was bring a change inthe society, people had somehere down the line started trusting sameer, but yetthe fight was long, naina was yet to prove sameer innocent!!
Ok, now do not kill me for leaving at this point, but I couldtype this much only at a time!!! I know I have a bit starched the courtroomdrama, bt please bear with me, I really do not know how has this turned up!!The next update whould be tomorrow, pakka!!
