Not sure if it was really love at first sight for Sameer but I think he surely fell for her while studying together. That's why he was so hurt when she didn't support him in front of her dad. Also during the key theft scene he said to her that she could have once clarified before judging him. Than that bike scene and taunt on celebration at home. Some how he knew that she likes him and hence when he got to know that she is the one who gives him blank calls, he was sure of risking his hair for bet .

Now when he is madly in love with her, he must have recalled their first meeting and thought about it multiple times. Hence that memory is so fresh in his mind.

Actually the point of my post wasn't about the tangible physicality of the moment rather the intangible quintessennse of the moment.. I am not making this about possessiveness. As I said, I liked the idea of using their first encounter to make him feel again but I wasn't warming up to the idea of him actually being in the moment with "someone" else for the trigger...
I loved that they used the trigger of their first encounter to snap him back to reality as the VO so beautifully said it but in the same breath I did not like it involved in any way a third person.. it's a bit of a nitpick of mine... 😆
