Chapter 4 :
"No, no.. she just came now" Sameer said standing for Naina.
"I was absent today. So she came to collect her note from me" he said and the man nodded. Nana ji bid him bye and came inside angrily.
"Sameer, what my friend ll think of me? That this is how I raised you?" He said angrily sitting on sofa.
"Nana it's not what you think" Sameer said pacifying him.
"But still Sameer, no-one is home and you know that very well and you're alone with a girl" he said angrily looking at Naina. Tears pooled at naina's eyes.
"Nana ji" she started to get an angry glare from him, Naina corrected herself, "I mean sir, I came because I wanted to thank him" she said unable to lie.
"So, you could have thanked him standing outside. What's the necessity to come inside?" he said angrily. Tears rolled down her eyes. Sameer couldn't hold himself.
"Nana what are you speaking? Did you forget that she saved you that day" Sameer said angrily.
"So what Sameer. But that doesn't give her the permission to come home when you're alone. I don't know what principle's her family taught her" he said eyeing her. Naina cupped her mouth stopping her hiccups. She just wanted to run somewhere away from this.
"Stop it Nana ji. You can't talk to the girl I love like this. She is a girl full of principles who can do anything for her family and friends" he said banging his hand on the table.
Naina's heart beat stopped for a second hearing that. She looked at him stunned.
"What did you say now Sameer?" His nana ji asked him looking at her angrily.
"I said I love her. She is my special friend Nana ji" he said standing infront of Naina blocking her view from Nana ji.
"She trapped you Sameer with her words" he said looking at Sameer.
"Nana ji what happened to you? How can you say this? She is not at fault. Infact I'm at fault. I trapped her. I had placed bet on her. Your grandson Sameer Maheshwari placed bet on the girl and broke her heart" he said making both nana ji and naina look at his with disbelief.
"But you know what she still she cares for me.. Even today she came caring for my health but she won't accept it. She never cared about my money or my status.. I have seen people talking to me just coz I'm rich but she is not like that and I'm sure she ll stand through my ups and down" he said and Naina couldn't help but fall for him more. She just wanted to run somewhere before this dream change into nightmare.
"I think I should leave" Naina said stammering and was about to leave.
"No Naina.. not now.. It's not a dream..And you don't have to be afraid.. It's true... I love you Naina Agarwal.. Sameer Maheshwari loves Naina Agarwal" he said with tears rolling down his eyes.
"You deserve all the love.. And I will wash my sin with my love Naina.. Just give me a chance" he said holding her hands and falling on the knees.
"Sameer.. " she said sitting on her knees and held his hand over her. She was afraid what his nana ji would do to him. But that moment she knew what has to be done.
He looked into her eyes hoping he gets another chance.
She smiled and nodded her head and sameer smiled through his tears happily.
Nana ji clapped his hands making Naina grasp his hands tightly out of fear. Sameer held her hands and reassured her.
He got up holding her hands looking at nana ji ready for his punishment.
Nana ji raised his hands forcefully making both Sameer and Naina close their eyes and their hold on each other hands tight. He smiled looking at them.
He placed his hands on sameer's head first making him open his eyes slowly and then on
Naina's head next making her open her eyes.They both looked at each other confused and looked at nana ji who had a smiling face.
"Nanu" Sameer said confused.
"What you thought? That I'm gonna slap you? I should have slapped you for what you did to Naina but since you earned her forgiveness I'm forgiving you" he said patting his back.
Naina looked nana ji confused.
"Matlab Nana you know?" Sameer asked Confused.
"What you thought me as? An idiot?" Nana ji asked.
"But how?" Sameer thought "I'm not gonna leave this Munna and pandit" he said angrily after a thought.
"I'm smart enough to find on my own" nana ji said raising his collar.
Naina looked at them confused. Nana ji noticed it.
"Arey Naina beta.. I'm so sorry for hurting you.. I wanted this idiot to realise his love for you.. So I had to do this drama.. Waise I loved when you called me nana ji.. And I know you're a girl full of values.. " he said to her.
"Nana ji.. Please don't say sorry and make me an outsider.. Naina said to him and nana ji smiled looking at her values.
"Drama?" Sameer asked confused.
"Oh yeah.. And I already punished you.. I made you sick" nana ji said laughing.
"What?" He asked shocked.
"I added cardamom in your milk" he said biting his tongue. Sameer is allergic to cardamom. Knowing that his nana ji added it in his milk making him fall sick.
"What nana ji? How can you do this?" He said angrily. Naina smiled at them.
"And then I'm not alone this this" he said whistling and gang entered happily.
"Namaste Bhabhi" MunDit said smiling to Naina and hugged sameer happily. SwaPre hugged Naina.
"You guys planned this together?" Samaina asked confused looking at them.
"And Preethi you know?" Naina asked shocked.
"Yeah and I'm angry on you for not telling me but I ll deal with you later but before that " she said walking angrily towards sameer and sameer walked backwards frightened until he hit the wall.
"Don't you dare try to break her heart. Next time I won't leave you" Preethi brought her hands close to his face and warned him and sameer nodded.
Naina couldn't hold her laughter seeing him so frightened and she laughed hard and everyone joined her.
The gang had fun together after which He blessed both Naina and sameer and Naina left for her home along with the girls.
Sunday night, Sameer called her.
"Naina, I want to drop you tomorrow for the school debate" he said to her.
"Sameer , what if someone sees us" she asked afraid what if her family comes to know.
"Nobody will see us.. you just come to temple ready.. I ll pick you from there" he said assuring her.
"Fine.. I ll try" she said still unsure.
"Please Naina.. " he begged her knowing she can't ignore his pleas.
"Okay okay will do something" she said smiling at his antics to make her agree.
"Toh.." He said diverting her.
"Toh.." She asked smiling.
"Toh.. have you prepared well" he asked her smiling.
"Haan.. this time I'm sure I ll win" she replied back confidently.
"Toh.." He said again.
"Toh.. Good night" she said blushing.
"Naina.." He pouted for teasing him "Bolo na.." he said to her. She recalled how told her that he wanted to hear the three magical words from her.
"Bola tha na Good night" she said hiding her laughter.
"Fine.. Good night" he said angrily
"Sameer.." She called hoping he hadn't kept the phone in anger. He smiled thinking his plan worked.
"Tum... Tum... Tum pagal ho... " she said blushing and laughing
Sameer hit the phone on his head lightly and smiled at her words blushing.
"Haan.. Mein pagan hoon.. Tumhari pyaar main" he said to her.
"Aur is pagal apni pagli se woh 3 words sunkar hi rehega" he said to her and she blushed at his words.
Now these night conversations turned more beautiful for them as they both are in love.
