Why this leap now is the question many of us have... Like they have confessed just now and there are not many scenes of them after confession... Why didn't they take some more time and show their dating phase... There were no dates, no bike rides, nothing which we expected after the confession... Why this rush with the leap and separation when the trps are good?
It ws always obvious that cv's and PH were not very keen on showing more physical and touchy romance between the leads... May be due to the PPK fiasco... They don't want to take any risk by showing underage romance... People have started expecting more than just eyelocks and love talks... They managed show these eye romance to the msximum... Now audience won't be satisfied with that... They need something more... Some physical proximity... More than hand holding... Otherwise things will get monotonous... School scenes have been shown much during the bet phase.. They can't show the same things again and again.
So the best way to bring in some fressness is leap as it is like a safe game... A two years leap means sameer and naina will be 18-19... They will be adults post leap... So the physical romance won't be a problem... Like hugs, touching, frequent hand holds etc... Mostly, trps tends to decrease with separation tracks... So i think this seperation track will be a rushed one... They will jump into the leap instead... Because leao brings the freshness needed.
Post leap they have many things to attract the viewers... Like how the characters have shaped up in these two years... How the dynamics between the characters are... How sameer and naina are coping up with the life without each other... Sameer's equation with the somanis... Many things will be there... And most importantly, reunion of the leads... Viewers will eagerly wait for the reunion..
Another thing is why can't they take a leap without seperating the leads?... Because the separation and reunion track has much scope... This reunion can do wonders with regards to ratings.. As these reunion post separation tracks always attracts audience attention.
As far as the dating is concerned, i believe the real dating phase will come during the college track... We will get all that we wanted during this phase... Like bike rides, hugs, dates etc... As someone said, they are saving all these things for the future... They wont show more romance before leap anymore as its been saved for futureš
