I feel we shd get voiceover of all d characters in some crucial moments so dat we cud understand dem. Else like in d real life we can't realise others feelings n dilemma n misunderstanding s crop up.

In yesterday's scene also Anand was not scolding or targeting Bela.he was really afraid dat before d old PBM got resolved something new PBM arised or wat. Dat is not because he doesn't trust Bela but understand s her better. She is clean in her heart n jo main mein athi u hu bol deti hu .she can't hide her feelings .

D parallel BTN chacha_chachi n naina_sameer, Shwas in Vishwas is d only thing comparable. Both situations are diff. Chachiji blurts out in a spur of a moment. But Sameer chal chali di. Eventho by d end he was nt into d bet. Seeing d old episode s we can see dat he was confused but didnt stopped his bet thing even after d nanaji incident.in was after der night talk n sunrise he was totally into her .

Shwas in Vishwas don't come back in a sec. Chachaji forgiven chachiji but he wud be conscious abt saying confidential things to her so dat no pbms crop up.

Coming to the episode--

For a change;every one gave Rakesh High BP while he is the one giving everyone else in other episodes.Well done Jija-Saali ,Munna and Pandit.👏👏

Sameer was so excited and happy 😆 Sasurji ko tension dena to abhi shuru hua hai ki jamai sahab ki khushi to dekho,Rakesh kabhi hospital mein hoga to yeh ladka to bhangra aur Kuchupudi kar lega.

Naina bechari ulajh gayi hai in ''Rahasya Dibba ka''.No doubt she read so much to become a writer.That mention of 'Diamond Pocket Books' was so nostalgic.Made me suddenly realize --oh!apna 90s ka show hai.

The subjugation of women was portrayed subtly through Anand's character..Yes missed that ''Vishwas thing.'

And that anshoo dialogue of Sameer--How does he manages to be so vocal...that to opnely.This guy surely gives a damn to world.😆

On a last note---Chachiji doesn't know her 'Heera' is the ''Saandh'' 😉 and that our show should be renamed as YUDKBH -Jab Shart rishte banate the''.🥱

What are trying to show with the chacha ji chachi maafi??? I thought the whole thing was about vishwas. Wasn't it. And I was ok with that parallel back then. Naina is 16 and Chacha has a huge influence on her- understandable. I was even ok with chacha behaving like an ass with his wife.But where is the whole vishwas in all this. Will he trust Bela the next time? What is Naina empathizing with now? Is she just happy that Chachi n chacha have sorted things out? Will she start trusting sameer again?

Somehow everything felt incomplete. Chacha could have mouthed some line about vishwas etc. Or is the vishwas thing still not dealt with??

Chacha 's words about that smile etc felt so artificial coz we never saw him think about being really harsh on Bela and that she has been putting up with this mad khandan as well.

I usually dontd crib much but today I was totally disappointed that they didn't close the loop well. Seemed half hearted. Hope the CVs prove me wrong.

I have been critical about the way the CVs set up this track becos they were largely doing this to ease in or highlight Sameer's role in resolving the Chacha Chachi tangle. In doing so, I was apprehensive they would butcher the one progressive character of the times Chacha and they did that...I guess it jarred heavily... I said I will reserve final comments in a diff thread

After watching yday episode...let me just say this... while the positioning of the track was a iffy.. the writers salvaged a bit of the damage with some innovative writing in how they wrote yday's screenplay or shots...

They kept the whole action light and believable and very much something 17 year olds would do...rather than make it too heavy on the rhetoric. The icing on the cake was Sameer taking pleasure out of the experience 😆 😆

It proved the writers still have a sense of what they are aiming to achieve!!

Interesting that you read the perspective as an issue of a joint family.. I admit the pressures of relationship in a joint family are different from those of a nuclear family..yet in a joint family also there is some aspect that is private between husband and wife. If for a moment we accept that all that Anand was keen that she solve the issue which she did from Anand's perspective ( as he has no knowledge of what transpired between the two) doesn't that also make Anand a bit of a hypocrite on the issue? If he knows that Rakesh is beyond redemption what is the use of testing Bela on that score? We need to be clear...was this about Anand's trust being broken, if so...the issue is not extraneous...it is intrinsic... By extension...nothing that Sameer does for the family will solve the tangle between Naina and Sameer because the issue is between them alone not extraneous. I know I used a tangential thought here to compare.

Let me just rephrase what the issue of some viewers on the Chacha chachi tangle is...what was the purpose of the track? I am not here focussing on Chacha and Chachi as characters but simply as what they served to highlight in the tale?

Was it to highlight to Naina that despite the greatest of misunderstandings, there is still hope? If so, this must be dramatic point for Naina...but as spoilers show...this is not the climax. This is not a Eureka moment for her so clearly the Cvs juxtaposed this track merely to show Sameer's efforts for reconciliation ( one of the bricks in the process

For me Sameer's efforts while making an indent in Naina's mind will not necessarily cause Naina to accept his efforts rather a culmination of efforts and situations will cause a meltdown very similar to how Sameer accepted his love for Naina. If we go back...Sameer was seeing so many overtures from Naina during the bet phase and he was clearly accepting of the fact that he was doing something wrong yet he continued on the path as the trigger to act differently hadn't arrived. Now, Naina is in a similar if not the same phase. Naina is seeing overtures from Sameer...she is seeing that Sameer is making a lot of efforts to resolve things but something is preventing her from breaking that barrier that she has put up and only something drastic will cause that to happen...similar to Sameer's breakdown and realisation. There are not like for like comparisons but merely ways in which people resolve serious differences or issues.

Coming back to the track and my issues...there are more related to how they butchered a character of Anand merely to make Sameer have a go at realisation. Anand may have been resurrected for some but I will always wonder why Anand exhibited a strain of "benevolent sexism for placating a male ego like Rakesh if he indeed knew that Bela was above board.
