Why does every word spoken by Ishita to convince audience why she supported Roshini sounds so hollow and pathetic ?

Why does Ishita's words of she asking Rossini to let bygones be bygones make us look at Ishita as if she has given a clean chit to Roshini - when what Ishita is telling Rossini is not wrong. She telling Rossini not to think about past is not wrong as the mistake which she has done cannot be undone. She asking her to focus on herself and baby is also not wrong - but every scene still looks pukeworthy.

CV's could have shown Roshini struggle and even though Ishita tried helping Roshini from a distance, things did not get better. At that time her shifting and taking care of Rossini woukd have been justified. All her present talks would have looked justified but since CV's decided to ditch this whole process, everything is looking pathetic now.
