Ishita open her eyes feeling the car is stopped and saw raman was nowhere. She got up a little and looked around. The car was parked near a 24 hours open shop. She was thinking what they r doing there when she saw raman coming with many bags. He kept the things in the dickey and settled in the car.
Raman -sorry ,was picking something.
Ishita -its all right.
Raman -chalo ghar chalte hai. He said and start driving again when Ruhi start crying. Ishita hold her and start rocking her to make her sleep but she was being cranky.
Ishita was trying hard but she was just crying bitterly.
Ishita -so jaa betu, pata nahi kya ho gaya, why she is being so cranky.
Raman -i know kya hua hai, don't worry, she will be fine once she will reach home. He said and fasten the speed while ishita was just looking at him all confused.
Soon they reached his apartment. He gave her the key and told her to go and open the house while he just come. Ishita nodded and went. She opened the door while Raman came with the big bags parking his car.
Ishita went inside with Ruhi and closed her eyes feeling heavenly. She breathed heavily and a tear fell off her eyes.
Raman came from behind and said -kya hua??
Ishita wiped her tears and said -the feeling of being in home is so overwhelming.
Raman -glad u like it, actually I live alone naa toh thoda ganda hai. Waise maid aati hai but still bachelor's house toh bachelor ka hi rahega. He said keeping the things.
Ishita -uncle aunty kaha hai??
Raman -Amritsar mein.
Ishita -tumne shaadi nahi ki?? She asked meekly.
He look at her and said -mujhe teri tarah shaadi karne ki jaldi nahi hai. He said looking at her with accusing eyes while she look down feeling his accusation .he was looking at her when Ruhi start crying bitterly.
Raman looked away seeing her eyes down in guilt and closed his eyes to calm him down as he knows well that now ishita want him to stand beside her. His rudeness may break her more.
Ishita turned and start rocking her but she was being too cranky.
Ishita -chup ho jaa betu, please chup ho jaa. She said almost in crying voice.
Raman -she is cranky as she is feeling dirty. She is a shower. He said turning to ishita. She looked at him.
Raman -trusy me, she need shower. Infact u too need it.
Ishita -i know, but I don't have anything. Not even clothes. She said looking at her torn clothes.
Raman -that I can see. Inn shopping bags mein tum dono ke liye kapde hai, aur bhi tum dono ke zarurat ki cheezein hai. Chalo main isse room mein pahuncha deta hoon, then both of u can get freshen up. Saying so he was going inside when ishita said -kya tum mujhe kabhi maaf kar paoge??
Raman looked at her hearing this while she was just looking down in guilt.
Raman -i think we can talk later.
Ishita -raman, please Ek baar keh do that u forgave me.
Raman -kar diya maaf, may be now u will feel better. Waise bhi it wasn't ur fault. I never told u to wait for me. He said and went inside wiping the cores of his eyes.
Ishita -main jaanti hoon raman, u r hurt. Maine tumhara intezaar nahi kiya. But I was stuck. Main chahti thi rukna, I wanted to wait for u but my condition didn't allowed me. Pata nahi kya likha hai meri kismat mein, pehle jab raman ke liye rukna chahti thi, mujhe milind ke saath bandh diya aur ab jab uske saamne bhi nahi aana chahti thi, kismat mujhe uske paas hi le aayi. She was lost in her thoughts when she realised raman was calling her.
She went inside and saw raman in the washroom. She saw many baby products on the bed and went to Raman. He was making lukewarm water for Ruhi in a small baby tub.
Ishita -itna sab karne ki zarurat nahi thi.
Raman look at ishru and said -zarurat thi, tumhe bhi ,tumhari bachchi ko bhi. Maine paani ready kar diya hai, give her bath, massage oil bhi hai, powder, diaper, joh kuch bhi mujhse zaruri lagaa I picked it. Kuch kapde bhi liye hai,bahut option toh the nahi but still I pick which I can. Tum isse freshen up kara di aur khud bhi naha lo. U will feel better.
Ishita nodded and raman was going out when she said -thank u so much, tum bahut kuch kar rahe ho, she was saying when he said -main coffee banane jaa raha hoon, tum peeogi.
Ishita nodded and he went. Ishita felt bad at his ignorance but she can't do much about it. She removed the dirty cloth off ruhi and put her slowly in the lukewarm water. Ruhi felt good and stop crying. She start enjoying the water while ishita start giving her bath applying soup and shampoo to her.
After sometime, she came out wrapping Ruhi in a towel. She wiped her thouroughly and gave her oil massage, she was moaning in pain while ishita was being happy seeing ruhi relaxed. She applied powder and make her wear a small frock. She applied kajal to her when raman came in with two mugs of coffee. He gave one mug to her and said -have it, u will feel good. Phir jaa kar naha lo while I take care of her.
Ishita nodded and both had coffee in complete silence. Both wanted to talk many things but nobody was saying anything. After having coffee ishita went to take shower while Raman picked ruhi in his arms and took her to show her his house.
Ishita removed her clothes and stand under the shower feeling good.she was taking shower after almost a week. The most dreadful week of her life. Tears start flowing remembering those days when she heard, make it quick, she is hungry.
Ishita immediately come out of the shower and wear her clothes. She came out wearing the kurti and leggings while her hair was tied in the towel.
Ishita -main aa gayi, she said making raman turn to her.she saw ruhi trying to get milk from him while he stopped seeing ishita looking so beautiful and pure like always. She look at him, he was already looking at her, both shared an intense eye lock which got broken by ruhi's crying. She start crying not finding her milk.
Raman -u take care of her, he said and went out without looking at ishita again keeping Ruhi on the bed.
Ishita picked ruhi in her arms and settled down to feed her.
On the other hand, Raman went to his room and said to himself -stop reacting like this Raman, she is wife of someone, mother of someone. Teri bas dost hai who badly need ur help. U r just helping her, don't expect anything in return. He said to himself and thought to check them again but stopped thinking she must be feeding ruhi.
After a while,he was standing on the door looking at ishita who was busy in making Ruhi sleep. After long struggle Ruhi finally slept. Ishita made her sleep on the bed and kissed her temple while Ruhi stir in her sleep and slept again.
Ishita turned to look for Raman and saw him standing on the door only.
She was about to say something when Raman said -main ander aa jaun.
Ishita -aao naa, please.
Raman walked inside and sat next to ruhi. He slowly caressed her hair and said -so gayi .
Ishita nodded and said -haan, bahut dino baad, nahi shayad jab se paida hui hai pehli baar itne aaram se so rahi hai. Meri bachchi ne bahut choti umar mein hi bahut kuch jhel liya hai. She said getting sad.
Raman looked at her, her eyes were moist. He realised that she needs him more as a friend now. He moved close to ishita and said -baat karne ka mann hai??
Ishita looked at him and could see many questions in his eyes.she move close to him and said adjusting her head on his chest -bataungi, Sab bataungi, but now I just want some rest. Bahut thak gayi hoon, bhaagte bhaagte, sabse aur apni buri kismat se. She said closing her eyes while Raman couldn't stop wrapping his arms around her and within seconds she fall asleep in his arms feeling secured.
Raman look at her and said -tum meri kismat mein toh nahi, but I will help u as much as I can. Shayad pyaar ka Ek Matlab yeh bhi hota hai, toh sacrifice urself for the one u love. He said caressing her face and then went out of the room adjusting ishita beside Ruhi and covering them properly with the quilt.

So I have decided if I continue to get such response, I will stop updating anything.
