Part-1
This part is prepared by my friends as I was not well, I hope u will like it. Even I didn't read it.
Morning at 7 am, Iyer house:-
Mr iyer came to dinner table all ready for breakfast and saw Mrs Iyer was on call. He saw her angry mode and got understand who is being scolded so he just sat there not to interfere as he knew she will not listen to him.
Mrs Iyer was on call,
Mrs I - Ishu kanna, what is this? Tum kabhi meri bat nhi sunti Na. Do din bad tumhari engagement hai kanna. Tumhe yaha hona chahiye Na..
Ishita was about to say something but her amma is no where to listen...
Mrs I - Ayyo ishu. Kitna kam baki hai abhi, tumhari shopping bhi nhi hui, dress select krni hai, ring select krni hai, subbu ki amma kitni particular hai kanna, agar last moment pr kuch problem ho gai to Kya hoga kanna. Ishu tum sun rhi ho na, ishu ishu...
I - haa amma Mai sun rhi hu or mera medical camp...
Mrs I - (scolding) Ishu ye Kya bat hui tum sirf camp camp kr rhi ho,mai tumse itni important bat kr rhi. Tum sabko meri koi fikr hi nhi hai. Vandu is pregnant with last month and this Mihika and bala, pta nhi dono subah subah kaha chale gaye...
Ishita cut the call not able to take her mother's scoldings anymore on call when she herself was on the way to their new flat coming from her medical camp that was held in Mumbai. Mihika and bala came to receive her as she wanted to surprise her amma.
Ishita started her career 3 years ago as a dentist in chennai only but now she got a great opportunity to join delhi and Iyers shifted to Delhi as bala and vandu were also in Delhi from their marriage and now subbu and their parents also shifted to delhi. As both families know each other very well and Ishita-subbu's friendship so decided to get them engaged and then married. Both knew each other from many years through vandu and bala who had a love marriage with families permission, so thinking their friendship and company as love they also got ready. Vandu and bala r expecting their first child after three years of marriage due to their career and this is her last month.
While amma was so busy in scolding her younger daughter that she didn't know from the very beginning vandu and appa was listening to her as vandu came long back and after greeting her father both settle down on dining table only to see Mrs iyer hyper.
V - Appa aapko Kya lagta hai aaj hume breakfast milega. ( a little loud only to get her mother's attention)
Mr I - Ek kam karte hai vandu, mai bna deta Hu breakfast tumhare liye.
V - Arey nhi appa, aap rahne do Mai jati Hu or...
Mrs I (came with breakfast and said settling on the table) - koi jarurat nhi hai kisiko kam karne ki, mai Hu Na sare kam karne k liye. Or Vishwa tum pls society compound k liye pooch lo bas, Aisa Na ho last moment pr kuch problem ho jaye.
Mr I - acha yad dilaya madhu. Actually aaj subah meri society k gsecretary, Mr. Bhalla se bat hui hai. Unhone to mujhe permission dedi ha Lekin mujhe lagta ha ki humhe mna kr dena chahiye. Vo bhot ache insan hai but..
V - but what appa?
Mrs I - ha agar vo ready ha to phir Kya problem ha?
Mr I - Same day unke yaha bhi family function ha or vo society compound use krne wale the pr phir maine poocha to bhala Ji ne kaha ki o manage kr lenge. I think we should check some more hotels and they will use the society compound.
Mrs I - But Vishwa humne kitne hotels check kiye ha, koi ready nhi ha dene k liye.
V - I think amma, appa is right. We can't spoil their function. Appa aap jakar u he mna kr dijiye.
Mr I - but he will not listen to me.
V - Mai or amma bhi chalte ha aapke sath.
Mr I - u r right.
All start having breakfast.
At the same time, bhalla house :-
Mr bhalla came to hall after got ready for breakfast and saw Mrs Bhalla, simmi,romi and rinki sitting on dinning table and sleeping keeping their heads on hands and their heads r falling every now and then. All r ready but feeling sleepy due to early morning irregular bhajans of Mrs Iyers.
Mr bhalla called neelu little loud to wake up them. All got up at sudden call.
Mrs B - kya bhallaji aap bhi Na, Aisa koi krta ha kya. Meri neend kharab krdi.
(Here Romi and Rinki r twins and right now school going students in 12th and simmi is college student doing her post graduation. Mihir is first year student of business studies. Mihika also in 12th but she is in Delhi just for Ishita's engagement.)
Mr B (patting on romi's shoulder)- oye romi, tum dono ko school jana hai na. Jldi breakfast karke niklo dono.
Ro - ha jaa rhe ha Papaji.
Romi and rinki left after having breakfast while simmi and mrs Bhalla started preparation of god bharai while the person for whom this all is going on, sleeping carelessly in her room all alone as Raman went for some business meeting in Jaipur.
At hall, Mrs Bhalla and simmi were checking their shopping list.
Mrs B - Simmi sari shopping ho gai bas shagun ki saree or gahne Bache ha.
S - mumma uski shopping aap Usi pr Chod do. Vo or uski mom apne aap kr lenge. Varna phir se kahegi ki "This is not my choice". ( she said making faces) or bhai nu pareshan karegi.
Mrs B - vo to thik ha lekin vo dono ma beti mere puttar ki sari kamai uda degi.
Mr Bhalla came from his room and listening to all this said,
Mr B - oh Toshiji, koi gal nai ha. Kam se kam koi jhagda to nhi hoga. Or ha in sabse yad aaya, god bharai ka function ek din age shift kr do...
Mrs B - Kyu Bhallaji, ek din age kyu. Arey ye bhi koi gal hui bhala, aapse poocha tha Na pahle hi. Ab jab sari tayari ho gai ha to aap mna kr rhe ho.
Mr B - Toshiji meri suno to sahi...
Mrs B - Mainu nhi sunna Bhallaji. Aap suno, sari society ko bta dia ha, sare dost or rishtey nate sabko Bol dia ha. Ab do din pahle mna krenge to kya sochenge sab log. Aapko pta ha pahle hi ye shagun k karan sab log kaisi kaisi bat karte ha. Mainu nhi sunna, god bharai Usi din hogi.
Mr I - Ji bilkul Usi din hogi.
Bhallas looked at the direction and saw Iyers standing at the door.
Iyers were coming after breakfast to meet Bhallas when they heard everything as the door was open and Mr Iyer interrupted thinking not to create any problem in their family because of them.
Mr. B - arey Iyer Sahab aap log. Aaiye Na andar.
Mr Bhalla and Mr Iyer introduced their family members but they don't know Mrs Bhalla and Mrs Iyer already met in morning.
Mrs B - Namaskar, welcome Ji hamare ghar me, jaha log ande khate ha. (she said with over sweetness like in real yhm, she behaves sometimes )
Mrs I - Vadakkam. Thank u, hum ghas phoos khane valo ko andar bulane k liye. (she said giving back to Mrs Bhalla)
Both look at each other facing and giving angry looks between their smiles.
All looked confused but to clear it, simmi said,
S - mai batati Hu aap sab ko.
Let's go back to morning when both men were in garden.
In bhalla house all woke up and sitting in hall. Mrs bhalla went outside to take newspaper. Same time Mrs Iyer after prayer went to take newspaper. Don't think too much newspaper boy was same and their flats were opposite so both heard ring bell same time almost so came out at same time.
Both saw each other at first time and just smiled. Mrs Bhalla just faked a smile just because her beautiful sleep got disturbed and the reason was in front of her so she was controlling herself while Mrs Iyer was smiling due of her sweet morning unknown to opposite condition.
Both bent to take the newspaper and Mrs Iyer saw the egg waste and shout horribly making Mrs Bhalla scared a bit at sudden screaming. Simmi romi and Rinky also came.
Mrs Iyer and Mrs. Bhalla started fighting like their first fight in serial, u can imagine. I'm not writing their whole conversation. So after a lot of trying trio makes them apart and in end when they were going, they said,
Mrs I - Ayyo Murugan, aise maas khane valo k ghar Mai kabhi Na jau.
Mrs B - hey mata rani aise ghas phoos khane valo ko kabhi Mai apne ghr Na bulau.
Both just said angrily. And now when both r behaving opposite so just showing each other.
Mr Bhalla asked all to sit.
Mr I - Bhalla ji aap society compound me apna function kr lijiye. Hum log hotel me booking kr lenge. Aap pls hamari vajah se apna function kharab mat kijiye or Bhabhiji aap pls Bhalla Ji ko kuch mat kahiye.
Mrs B - Koi mainu btayega ki ho Ki rha ha.
Mrs I - Mai tum ko batati Hu.
And Mrs. Iyer explained everything to her.
MrsB - oh to ye gal ha. Hmmm. Function do or compound ek.
Mr B - Iyer sahab maine kaha tha Na ki koi problem nhi ha. Hum adjust kr lenge.
Mr I - Nhi bhalla sahab...
With that both start their argument and both ladies saw each other and went little away from there to talk.
Mrs B - Santosh Bhalla. Pyaar se sab Toshi kahte ha.
Mrs I - Madhvi Iyer. Pyaar se sab Madhu kahte ha.
Mrs B - ha to madhubala. Teri beti ki sagai ha or meri bahu ki god bharai. Na Tu cancel kr sakti or Na Mai.
Mrs I - Ayyo Santoshi, mera naam madhu ha.
Mrs B - to mera naam bhi Santosh ha.
V - ohho Auntiji Amma, aap ye sab chodo or ye socho ki karna Kya ha. Appa or uncle Ji me se koi bhi nhi man rha ha.
S - Ha kuch Socho...
V - Idea.
Trio - Kya
V - Dekhiye auntiji Mai samaj sakti Hu ki god bharai ka function Kitna important hota hai kisi bhi maa k liye.
S - Aisi feelings sabhi maa me ho aisa zaruri nhi Hota. (she said sadly but Mrs iyer and vandu also listen it but couldn't understand)
Mrs B - simmi chup kar. Vandu puttar Tu idea bta.
V - Ji aunty. Actually aunty aap log god bharai sham ko pahle kr lijiye or Uske bad hum engagement kr lenge. Vo Kya ha Na aunty meri MIL, mera matlab ha saas vo bhot mahurat or rasmo ko lekar bhot particular ha. Isiliye aap log apna function pahle kr lijiye or hum bad me. Humhe late ho gaya to chalega. Lekin god bharai ki rasam itni late krna thik nhi hoga to aap log pahle kr lijiye. Vo Kya ha Na auntiji hamare yaha bhot jyada time lag jata ha. To agar aapko koi problem...
Mrs B - Tu is madhubala ki hi beti ha?
Mrs I & V - Kya?
Mrs B - tu itni samajdar jo ha puttar.
V - Thank god. Mujhe laga aapko idea acha nhi laga.
Mrs Bhalla shows thumps up.
S - mumma ye sab chodo or papaji or uncleji ko btao varna ye dono ladte rahenge.
All went to them and mrs bhalla and mrs Iyer shouts,
Mrs B and Mrs I - chup.
Mrs B - ab aap dono hamari suno.
Mrs Bhalla and Mrs. Iyer explained them and all accepted and started discussing about preparation and timings.
After discussing when iyers were about to go from there,
V - auntiji if u don't mind mujhe aapse kuch poochna tha.
Mrs B - ha puttar. Bol Na.
V - vo auntiji actually sorry aise interfere nhi karna chahiye kisi k family matter mein. But actually jab hum log aye the to aap log kuch discuss kr rhe the, aapki bahu ki shopping ko lekar.
S - So what?
V - if I'm not wrong so aap log pareshan the ki vo bhot choosy ha.
S. - ha hai, so?
V - so I have an idea. Actually meri saas bhi bhot choosy ha. Amma unhe jab bhi shopping pr lekar jati ha to vo humesha sabse mahengi saree choose hai. That's why is bar maine socha ki Kyu Na ek teer se do nishane kiye jaye.
S - I didn't get it.
Mrs I - Vandu tum ye Kya Bol rhi ho.
Mrs B - ha puttar, saaf saaf Bol.
V - ok listen. Meri ek friend ha yaha Shruti Sharma and uska husband Rahul Sharma. Un dono ka designer boutique jai for ladies and gents both. Unke designs superb ha. Aap logo ko dekhkr Yhi lagega ki bhot costly hoga but vo log designs ko classy banate or itna costly bhi nhi Hota.
S - I got it. Hum unhe ye designs dikhayenge to vo log classy or costly samaj kr inhe choose karenge but vo hamare budget ke honge. Right.
V - exactly. Maine apni friend ko best collection k sath aaj lunch k bad bulaya ha. If u r interested then I will inform her.
Mrs B - kya kahti ha simmi, ye dono maa beti hamare jaal mein fasenge.
S - Mumma vo sab Mai aap logo ko btati hu ki is murgi ko kaise phasana ha.
Simmi told them her plan and all accepted. All were busy in laughing and discussing when there came a shout from behind,
Sh - Neelu, nimbu pani bna de. Oh god this sir dard. (Don't be confuse, just remembered once raman saying to ishita that shagun didn't know English well earlier so used it, shagun ki tuti futi English )
Shagun came in hall in her night dress still yawning at 9 am and sat at dining table busy in her mobile phone.
Mrs Bhalla got worried listening to this as if she is demanding lemon water then she must drink last night despite knowing very well its dangerous for the baby but she didn't said anything otherwise what will Iyers think?
Mrs Iyer didn't like her a bit. She woke up at 9 and even didn't wish her own family forget about iyers. She felt bad about Bhallas having her as DIL. While Mrs Bhalla and simmi were feeling guilty without any fault. Vandu observed it and signed amma to go.
Mrs I - Acha santoshi, hum chalte ha. Bhot tayari bhi krni hai.
Before going Vandu's friend, shruti called and vandu got an idea to show off in front of shagun .
V - Amma one min. (Picked up the call) hi shruti.
Shruti- hi vandu. How r u?
V - great.
Shruti - actually vandu, I Called u to ask u if we have to come with sarees only or anything else.
V - oh yes. Actually u do one thing u bring ur latest collection of designer sarees and other traditional dresses also. Actually my family just love ur designs, so everyone want to buy from u only. After all u r superb designer yar.
S - vandu...
V - ok done. Bye. See u soon.
Vandu cut the call and messaged her to call later and tell her everything.
Shagun who was sitting ignoring everyone, just by listening the word designer, looked at them and after the call cut.
Sh - Hlo.
V (happy to see her plan worked) - hi.
Sh - Aap kon. Pahli bar dekha ha aapko. Simmi ki friend ho?
V - no no. Simmi and my friend, not at all. (she said making faces to get shagun in their plan side) Hum to kl hi shift huye ha. Vo actually bas society k bare me kuch discuss krne aye the. By the way amma appa we should leave, Meri friend designer shruti bhi aati hogi.
Sh - Designer shruti to bhot achi designs banati hai.
V - excuse me.
Sh - This is Shagun. Actually Mai I mean I also go to designers. Vo aapki friend ha?
V - yes, of course.
Sh - Mujhe bhi apne liye kuch designer dresses leni ha. Pls mujhe bhi milwa dijiye.
V - but maine request ki that's why she is coming.
Sh - I requesht u also. Pls pls pls
V - ok fine. Be ready after lunch.
Sh - thank u.
A - Mumma.
There comes Adi with his mama Mihir.
Shagun saw him and make a face.
Sh - Adi tum itni jldi aa gaye?
Adi hugged her but shagun pushed him away.
Sh -(almost shouting) Adi kitni bar kaha ha ki dur raho. Itne bade ho Gaye ho. Ek to ye bachcha meri jaan leta ha or dusre tum. Or Mihir tum, do din or rakh lete apne pas. Mujhe kitni shopping karni ha abhi.
R - its ok shagun.
Here comes Raman. All turned to the door and saw Raman was standing with his bag. Beside him a young girl was also standing and a girl and a boy behind them.
Mrs I - Ishu kanna, tum kab aai?
I - Bas abhi amma.
R - Adi papa se nhi miloge..
Adi came to him. Raman hugged him and talked something but he didn't react much. Adi left.
Mr Bhalla and Mr Iyer left for society compound after meeting their children. All got introduced, so I'm not writing it.
Mrs B - Raman puttar, Tu thak gaya hoga puttar. Mai khana lagvati hu.
R - nhi maa maine kr lia.
With that Mrs Bhalla also left to introduce Mrs iyer to her friends.
Shagun saw a rose in Raman's pocket and said,
Sh - Phir se ek rose.
Raman looked at her and understand. He picked out it and said giving it to her
R - Actually Mai tumhare liye laya tha...
Sh - oh pls Raman kitni bar kaha hai ki mujhe ek rose mat dia karo. Kabhi to ek butiful bouque la sakte ho pr nhi tum se nhi hoga.
Shagun left throwing the rose on the floor. This scene was seen by Simmi, Mihir who were not new for all this, Bala also somewhere known to this but Ishita, Vandu and Mihika were new and felt bad for Raman. Raman tried to cover up,
R - Vo pregnant ha Na to mood swings ho jate ha. Kuch bhi Bol deti ha.
He picked the rose and kept in his pocket.
Ishita felt very bad for Raman who was trying to cover up for his wife second time, yes because first time he covered up for her behaviour towards Adi.
Raman left with mihir to discuss about Adi.
After Raman left, bala gave a red rose to Vandu who took it happily while Raman saw it slightly hiding from the door who was leaving but listening to bala stopped to see vandu's reaction and his eyes filled instantly seeing vandu accepting single rose happily unlike shagun. Ishita saw it and her eyes also filled to see his hurt...
It's enough for now. Introduced almost all. I know Ishra entry and first meeting is left and I will give it in next part.
