R- Tu hamesha madrasan hi rahegi ,wait I will arrange it for you .
Saying so he got up to go when Ishita held his hand and asked " main bhi chaloon "(should I accompany you ).
R- why not ,come I will show you your house .
He spoke and was going, holding her hand when she pulled his hand . He turned and saw her questioning, while she saw him making a puppy face ,he fame closer to her and asked " hey ish ,is there any problem ".
She nodded slowly ,he smiled and asked softly " what ,you can tell me,I will help you ".
I- (meekly )- toilet .
Raman realized that she has not gone for freshening till the time she left chennai ,he nodded and spoke " come ".
He took her to washroom and showed " this is our personal washroom ,here you can complete all your works ,see everything is here ,ok "
She nodded when he spoke " ok you get fresh , I m waiting for you outside ,then we both will go down together ."
She nodded and went inside while Raman ordered idli for ishita from the nearby restaurant . She was taking much time ,Raman atfirst thought that she must be freshening them after much time ,he thought to check her . Thinking so he was about to knock the door when he listened her cries ,he got worried and knocked the door ,but she didn't opened it ,then he tried to open and found the door was unlock . He entered the bathroom and saw ,she was crying standing in a corner ,fully drenched in water while the shower was on . He ran inside and turn off the shower ,the walked to her and saw she was happily clapping . He made a confused face when she spoke " thank you ".
R- for what .
I- Maine kharaab kar diya , but you repaired it .
R- pagli ,who told you that it was damaged .
I- wo band nahi hua tha . ( I couldn't turn it off ).
Raman smiled at her cuteness and spoke " nahi baba ,it was not damaged , its just you cannot turn it off ".
Saying so he was taking her out when she went to the tap and hit it saying " ganda " ( bad ).
Raman shook his head in disbelief and was taking her out when he noticed that she was all wet . He stop in mid and spoke " ish you are all wet ,you wait here ,I m bringing your cloths ".
She stopped there itself while Raman went out and brought her cloths ,she changed after much time ,then both he took her downstairs where senior bhalla's were waiting for them to have lunch . Raman asked weather the parcel from restaurant arrived ,toshiji nodded and passed idli towards them . Raman served for ishita and started eating his lunch . After sometimes he noticed ,she was still sitting ,looking at him while her eyes were moist and lips curled as if she was going to cry anytime . Raman saw her and asked " ish what happened, why you are not eating baby".
I- mujhe nahi aata .(I don't know to eat ).
T- then how you were eating till now .
I- sister akka and vandu akka .
T- humm .
R- she mean to say that the nurse of hospital and vandu use to feed her.
T- ohh ,ok I will feed you .
R- you wait ma ,I will feed her . you have your food and rest ,must he very tired .
Toshiji nodded and had her food while Raman started feeding Ishita . After feeding some bites he asked " how is it ".
I- achcha ,(nice).
R- you liked it .
I- humm .
After having two idlies ,she told " bas, ho gaya".
R- arey you had only two ,you must be hungry na .
I- no ,bas.
Saying so she stood to go when Raman held her hand and spoke " wait for me , I m also coming ".
She nodded and sat like a obedient girl while Raman was having his food ,she noticed him thoroughly as if learning to eat . Soon he completed his food and then both went to their room . Raman told ishita to rest while he went out to call his assistant to know his pending appointments . They talked for long , after much time he hung the call and when he came back he saw ishita was sitting in the corner of bed and was sobbing . He got worried and called her , she raised her face and saw him ,he opened his arms for her and she came crawling to him . He engulfed her in his arms and caressed her hairs softly . After sometimes her sob lessened then he asked " why you were crying baby ".
I- mujhe dar laga .
R- why ?
I- main akeli ( I was alone).
R- arey nahi ,I was here only .
I- mujhe jaana hai .
She spoke making a baby face ,Raman got shocked and asked " why ish ,why you wanna go from here ".
I- yahaan koi nahi ,main akeli ,mujhe dar laga.( nobody is there ,I m alone ,I was scared).
R- I was here only ish ,moreover people live alone like this only . see me ,ma and papa are there in house ,aur maids bhi hain .
I- main akeli thi.
R- okay ,I will tell someone to be with you all the time ,ok .
I- like sister akka .
R- humm ,now come we will sleep together ,so that you won't be scared .
I- tum mere bed pe .
R- humm ,koi problem hai.
I- main kahaan soun. ( where I will sleep ).
R- you too will sleep with me ,so that you won't get scared ,ok .
I- humm .
Both lays on bed ,beside each other ,ishita closed her eyes while Raman was thinking about the changes in her life moreover he was very sad that his best friend ,his love don't remember him ,for whom she was waiting till now . He caressed her face softly ,she snuggled into him ,he pulled her into him and spoke " ish you forget your Rammy ,see I m here with you , can't you recognize me ."
He didn't got any response from her and closed his eyes ,soon he too slept .
Days started passing like this ,from next day a help was instructed to be with ishita when Raman goes to hospital . She was getting familiar with everyone ,has started talking nicely but not yet had started recognizing and addressing anyone. It was Sunday , Raman has decided that he will spend whole day with ishita and will try to make her recall her past ,their moments ,her parents ,their death ,her loss ,so that she can mourn over her parents death. all the fear and sadness which is inside her will go and may be after that she will become bit normal .
Raman took her downstairs where toshiji was busy in her work ,he showed his mother and spoke " Ish she is my mother ,I call her ma ,you too have to call her that only ,bolo ma ."
I- amma .
R- amma nahi ma .
I- ma nahi amma .
R- arey buddhu amma nahi ma .
I- arey buddhu ma nahi amma .
Raman was about to say something when toshiji stopped him and spoke " leave it puttar ,let her call me Amma , she will feel her mother in me ."
R- as you say ma.
Then he turned towards his father ,who was reading newspaper and spoke " he is my father ,you will call him papa ."
I- oh ho how buddhu you are sab galat galat ,papa nahi appa . and you .
R- I m Raman ,you can call me rammy.
I(after thinking for sometimes)- Rammy, Rammy was my friend , I love him but he didn't loved me aur wo mujhe chod kar chala gaya .
Raman got emotional listening to her and spoke softly ,caressing her cheek
" do you remember Rammy ".
I- humm , we study together but he went leaving me ,phir appa aaye aur mujhe le gaye .Rammy didn't come ever to meet me ,mujhe uski bahut yaad aati hai .wo mujhe bahut achcha lagta hai .
Saying so she started crying ,Raman hugged her tightly and spoke " ish I m your Rammy baby ,can't you recognize me ."
