I am a writer who has no boast
I cheer genuinely and do toast
About people and things I feel good
I am frank,open never crude or rude
I do not act on the bidding of another
Do not carry brief of anybody to further
Their fame or be part of publicity drive
Though let all know that I am not naive
Notice quite often when it reads well
The responses I get are quick and swell
When a bit of constructive criticism ensues
The likes are rare and replies don't mew
Well to all concerned I have only to say
May the objective spirit of this forum not stray
