I disagree about him not understanding. He more ofte understood Ishita better than herself bc she wouldn't open up her true emotions. Recall miscarriage - he wanted to support her emotionally but she didn't want that and put up a strong front despite being hurt. As someone who bottles up emotions, it is hard for others to be there for me they way they want to and that's what happened to Raman and Ishita. She bottled when he wanted to be there for her

Nothing will erase his words but he too has an emotional and mental POV that should be traced.

Whether right or wrong both are acting accordingly to the perceptions they have based on the circumstances.

Khair I know we we'll never agree so it's better to end the discussion. I just wanted to try shed a different perspective so I apologize if I offended you

Kri.. you have your POV, please don't make me feel ashamed by apologizing. You told your view, I told my view.. and yeah, we will agree to disagree regarding this situation😆.

It always was meant to be that way bc that is the set up of post-Leap tracks.

How else would viewers find satisfaction? Make Raman keep externally uttering crap, keep his emotions hidden, so everyone wants him to suffer.

From the start of this - I knew his full break would be the worst of the worst emotionally, but sadly it will be to a partially unempathetic audience.

The thing is - he has already lost Ishita for good in his mind. He lost her for 7 years and now she supports mani in his POV. His hurt will be swept under the rug to his fear of losing her again.

Right now Raman isn't Ishita's Raman and Ishita isn't Raman's Ishita externally so slowly the track will be about showing each other that they really haven't changed.

How?
Ishita hearing Pihu's perspective and then learning about custody paperwork = first way to show she is still Raman's Ishita
Raman trying to keep drunk Ishita safe is also showing he is still Ishita's Raman.

There will be more yelling and nastiness but there will also be moments for the leads to question their perception of the other

So, what about his guilt which many people assume that he was suffering for last 7 years😆? His not realizing even after Ishu's telling proves that he never ever realized his mistake 7 years ago, and even he doesn't realize it now. He was never guilty of losing Ishita, he was sad and broken, but not guilty, period.

So this is what Raman's love is na!! He doesn't understand her ever.. He never understood her dissatisfaction regarding surrogacy before opting, he never understood her pain he used to abuse her even before too, he never understood her pain when she was broken when she knew that she can't carry a child.. He never understood her when she needed his understanding most. Ishu too dint understand him many times, but at the time when he needed support, she almost never failed to support him. Raman may or may not love Ishu, but he is not an ideal lover, father or husband or son. His love can not be taken as example of true love.. cos it was never a true love from his side.

Simply nice n plausible pov of yours. 👍🏼

Don't feel bad or anything. I just feel weird trying to bring in a POV that gets others riled up but I couldn't help myself 😃

My biggest issue with what is being shown is that Raman is both verbally and mentally abusing Ishita and has on a few occasions threatened to kill her. I feel for Raman in that he should be hurt and angry and even feel betrayed that Ishita was alive for 7 years and did not bother to contact her kids or family, let alone him. And not wanting to see her or speak to her or even hear her out is understandable. I even get wanting to hurt her by declaring his marriage to Shagun. But the constant barrage of verbal assualts and mental abuse is a complete degradation of his character. Someone who verbally and mentally abuses someone often accompanies that with physical abuse, which thankfully is not yet being shown in Raman's case. (And hopefully will not, he only slaps his son and brother.). In real life there are men and women who love so toxically that they abuse their loved ones and often times the death threats lead to a murder and often murder/suicide. Which they did ironically show with Pallavi and Mr Chadda and we all know how that ended.
And therein lies my problem with the current track. I have attended seminars on domestic violence and cases such as what Raman's character is portraying often end in untimely deaths and that is why, personally, it is difficult for me to view this. I have detached enough and will wait for this track to pass and if the next one shows Ishra in love and off on some other stupid track and I can digest it, I will. So the CVs are just making a mockery of this just like all the other sensitive topics they have touched on and brushed aside.
