nothing much happened...
Pihu went on and on in her melodramatic fashion...I have no idea why the CVs are doing this nautanki in a bid to show Pihu is diff from Ruhi...yea man we get it...they are two diff characters but stop that Sajan ka Sasural rant ...enough now!!
It is so annoying its not even funny...if the makers think it looks cute, by Jove, they dont know what pathetic is then😕😕
the only bit I liked about AdiHu convo was how much Adi dotes on his lil sister, and barring the TV serial jargon, how much Pihu loves him too...
Ashok and Shagun scene was also blah...he was mouthing the same ol' dialogues..instigating...trying to show her her place in Bhalla House...calling her bechari...trying to turn her against Mihika, who seemed to have been accepted by the Bhallas by virtue of her new status in the family ...bahu
I hope she doesn't come to live with the Bhallas though...that will be too much..I cannot see more of Raman-Romi fights...and well, why should she? Its not like all these years she cared a damn about the Bhallas...
Ass-oak slept with Nidhi a few days back, is behaving in a slimy fashion with Shagun, and by the kinda language he used it seems he wont mind staying with her again, if the necessity arises...wow...wat dynamics in their relationship👏 I was thinking - iss tharki ko chain nai...use koi bhi chalegi...chahe woh Shagun chudail ho ya Nidhi naagin
Shagun gave it back to him...but I dunno...I feel she may get influenced by his words, if she doesn't, aage YHM mein vamp ka role kaun nibhayega😆😆
Neelu hasn't been seen in the episodes for quite some time now...and its clear the scriptwriters just inserted her for some added drama...nai toh aaj tak Neelu ne kabhi bhi actively Raman aur Ishita ko close laane ke liye kuch nai kiya hai...as far as I rem...
She may or may not like what goes on in the house, but she has never hardly ever actively spoken about it to anybody...so it was kinda weird to see her talking about it to Mihika...
I dunno about others, but I didnt like the way Mihika instructed Neelu to go get a pic of IshRa from the store-room and deliberately put it in front of the Iyer-Bhalla corridor...the act per se was done to bring it to Pihu's notice that there indeed, is some relationship between her Raman papa and that haar-wali aunty
I was miffed with the kinda authority she exercised in instructing Neelu to do whatever...she has barely set foot in Bhalla House and abhi se bahu ke tevar dikhana shuru kar diya😲 aise toh Toshi ki taraf dekhti bhi nai thi...and right after marriage, she suddenly started craving for all that sasural ka pyaar
Ishita-Adi scene was the best today...the only relatable, sensible part...yes, she was hurt when she realized Adi had, in fact done all those silly things to get her parents closer to each other...but she sat beside him, and very gently made him understand what he did was wrong...it could have harmed his dad...so obviously Raman got angry... I really liked ISHU'S approach in this scenario...she did not let Raman hit Adi a second time, coz there Raman was wrong...at the same time she tried to make Adi understand what he did was also not right, though he may have had good intentions
so, in short...she is trying to mend the relations and bridge the gap between father and son
Adi is desperate to take her back home...and she tells him its not possible..and that's where Raman makes an entry and says, yes, of course its not possible coz dead people have no place in his life
at the exact moment, Aalu and Mani enter the hall from the other door...and seeing Raman yelling at Ishita, Mani says he should leave...Raman stops him, and says, no, he should leave since he feels he came in between ...he indirectly insinuated that Ishita was a bhagodi and Adi, a dhokhebaaz... and that is where Ishita interjects and asks Raman to keep Mani outta this
Now, I dont like Mani, and he is very judgmental about Raman, has always been...but to be fair, somewhere deep down he understands that though there is this huge communication gap between IishRa, technically, they are still husband-wife and he should ideally leave the scene as they are talking. It seems like he didn't want to fan the flames and create misunderstandings...at least his outward actions show that, irrespective of what he may feel within
Here, Raman really had no business to rope Mani in,amidst all his taunts...especially when Mani never really said anything...I understand Raman is acting all jealous and worked up, coz he thinks something is brewing between Mani and Ishu...but come on, you cannot be unreasonable and say whatever you feel like to anyone.
So, I kinda agree with what Ishita said - not to rope in Mani in all this. At the same time, I wished she'd have spoken up for Raman that day in the police station, just like she had for Adi.
Oh well😔
What Raman did next was even stupider...he invited Mani to his wedding...and if he wants, then additional guests as well (hinting at Ishita)...calling her his GF or godknowswhatever she is for Mani...
clearly, Puttar was doing all in his power to hurt Ishita...
I dont understand one thing - has it ever occurred to him that his equation with Shagun also comes under the radar of scrutiny, since she too has been living with him since the past 7 years, and looking after his kids...Ishita has done no diff...although Raman doesnt know it (why Ishu was living with Mani all these years)...but then the scales of comparison are in no way diff for either of them
this is sheer hypocrisy😡
And why is he bothered about Mani and Ishita's relation? He is to getting married in a few days from now, isnt he? Then why bother?
But he bothers, deep down it wriggles in his heart like this nagging feeling...and he cant shake it off coz he loves his Madrassan like mad and cant think of any other man being in her life other than him😉😆
Its all very romantic...this possessive love and all...but then he too comes under the ambit of scrutiny and judgment...why point fingers at wifey alone then??😲 His harsh words are only sabotaging his situation further...when will Puttar learn?😭
Anyway he storms out in anger...and once again, Ishita is left trembling...pain and hurt washing over her😭
I am glad Aalu got shouted at by Mani...sar pe chadh ke Bharatnatyam karne lagi hai aaj kal woh😡😡 Mani told her to leave ISHITA behind and took her home
ISHITA stood by herself for a while and cried to herself, thinking how much Raman has changed...how he doesnt think twice before saying /doing something...in his anger, he has been acting wildly...even ill-treating Adi and talking rudely to his own family members...yes, she is hurt with him marrying Shagun, but then more than that, she is worried he is taking such a big decision in the heat of anger...which isnt right...
and yes, though I am pissed with Raman, it was heartening to see her understand him, knowing fully well he was like this mad tornado right now who would calm down only after he had expended all his emotions..a lot of people would say Ishita is behaving like a doormat and what not...its a fact that no relationship is 100% equal, no matter what ppl say...but then today I couldnt help but feel its so special...that bond she shares with Raman...in a relationship, two people are never alike...there's always someone who is a lil softer, more patient, more level-headed...while the other is more impulsive, hot-tempered...and the two energies of two diff people just blend...
two imperfect people try a lifetime to create their own perfect love story.
And that's beautiful. I'm not justifying Raman's behaviour (Wish he too offered the same level of love and respect to her...) , but I feel he is so lucky to have a wife who understands his every emotion, expression, thought/feeling behind his harshest words...its a warm fuzzy feeling to know no matter what happens, there's someone in this whole wide world who has your back
Raman doesnt know it now, but yes, Ishita has his back😛
And it is evident in the way she has decided to go take a flat on rent and live in the same building the Bhallas and Iyers are living in...she wants to stay right there and sort it all out.
Yes, its very cheesy how ALL the telly soaps make it seem like the Indian bahus are the ones who keep the family together and how without them, the family is in shambles, but then that's the way it is...without the bahu, family isnt family enuff😆😆😆 In any case, the bhav YHM gives its bahu (ISHITA) is way less than what SNS gives Gopi...in that serial, when Gopi got jailed for 10 years the WHOLE FRIKKIN' FAMILY DISINTEGRATED...
So much so that Kokilaben (who takes Krishna Bhagwan's saugandh ten times per episode) went to live in a chawl leaving behind her palatial bungalow, Ahem, the male lead, turned into a stud overnight and started livin in with some modern woman (prolly to shake off Gopi's dehaati clingy vibes from over a decade and a half)..the kids became morons...one of the family members became a mental case...and a host of other things...
so in that way, YHM isnt going all out..not yet😆😆
Ishu is gonna get Prateek's flat😆😆😆 so it seems very soon we will see that dhongi baba as well🤣 he will come back from his world tour and show his face 7 SAAL BAAD😆😆
Pihu, as expected saw the picture lying outside the Iyer's door and picked it up...Oldie Bhalla came around the corner and she asked him about the picture, since it was haar wali aunty with her dad in the pic...Oldie Bhalla gets disconcerted...am assuming this too will ball up into a huge fight😕😕
I must say - I was OVERJOYED to see ISHRA ki shaadi wali pic...Raman looks TONS younger, and so handsome... that haughty look on his face looked so hot
and Ishita too looks GORGEOUS...
I so wish they get married AGAIN, S.Indian-cum-Punjabi ish-style😳😳😳 they should renew their wedding vows you know, and this time create a new pact between them - COMMUNICATION. NOT ASSUMPTION😳
Since Ishita has decided she will go live in the same building as the Bhallas and Iyers, Aalu loses her calm and talks in that raised pitch - why do you need to go there? We are all fine here...you wnt to go stay in that building where Raman Bhalla stays?
she is clearly agitated...I dont understand why she is over-reacting...wasnt she the one giving Ishita pep talks about how she should face her probs and not run away from them??😳
Mani admonished her and asked her to stay out of it, and ordered her to go to her room
chorni pretended to walk away from the scene, but kept standing near the doorway and listened in on every word they spoke
the last scene, I dont even want to describe...all that dosti and pyaar wala talk went on...Ishita very gently let down Mani yet again, and said, she knows he loves her, but she is helpless...she can never love anybody again...there's no love left in her to give away to anybody else
she then explained why she was going to stay near the Bhallas and Iyers...
that Raman was an animal before she came into his life and he has become a 'jaanwar' again, he doesnt value anyone...and this has all happened because of her, so she will only have to go and sort things out...mend broken hearts...get them all together...and after she is done, she will leave their lives and they'll all go back to Australia
okay, I understand ISHITA is the bahu here and of course, all telly soaps revere their bahu and give her prime importance...over every other character...but Ishita's dialogue in the end was bordering on narcissism😆😆 that same ol' dialogue, "mujhe hi karna padega, meri wajah se, mere kaaran" everything was centred around her ...
oh well, yeh to hona hi hai...theek hai, kar lene do use...if she feels responsible for it...then let her have a shot and 'fix' things...although I dont think much would have changed had she been there...RomiKa might still have happened coz even before all this fiasco happened, Romi and Mihika were getting close...since none of the Bhallas and Iyers opened their mouth when Raman kept on blaming Ishita for Ruhi's 'death', Raman would prolly have asked Ishita to stay away and not come in front of her
and he would still have not let her come near Pihu, since he would not have trusted her around his lil princess...and bad blood would still have persisted between the Iyers and Bhallas because of this...Ishita's 'death' is the only dramatic factor here...nai toh sab waise hi behave karte jaise ab kar rahe hain😆😆
Khair, let the drama roll on...Ishita the magic wand who will cure every member of the Iyer and Bhalla family😆😆
Mani seemed quite understanding of what Ishita has set out to do...as of now, he is content watching on like this devdas who has gt paralysed all of a sudden..and says he will support in what she does...
the only interesting bit was when he said, "aur yeh sab karte karte tumhare aur Raman ke beech mein sab theek ho gaya toh"😆😆😆
maane use bhi poora doubt hai ki Raman ke pighalne ke chances bahut hain😆😆😆
anyway, Aalu kept looking on with horror on her face...like she and her Mamu were gonna be Amma-less very very soon😆
I admire the way Ishita handles things though...she rejected Mani but didnt do it callously, or throwing an air about herself...the way she spoke to him, its hard not to understand her POV...I get tired of her bahu act once in a while, but love her level-headedness👏👏 and empathy and compassion for people around her👏
PRECAP - As expected, Mr. Bhalla and Mr. Iyer are arguing about the picture lying there...Bhalla is accusing Appa of deliberately placing it there...ab toh Mihika Bhalla ji ki bahu hai, phir ab Iyers kyun aankh mein khatak rahe hain???😉
Ishita too has come with all her bag-and-baggage...
Raman reaches the scene...asks Ishu what she's doing here..she very coolly says she has come to live there
Puttar asks her to leave the society...Ishita gives it back saying he cant control where she lives...she is not leaving...
I like this kinda drama...the kind where Ishita comes back in form and gives takkar to our Punjabi Puttar😃😃
P.S. What struck me today is how Ishita still thinks of Raman's happiness, and doesnt want him to lose all his relationships only because he is too busy getting angry and frustrated with his near and dear ones...so in a way, she is going there for everybody else...but majorly for him...but no, not once will she question him on his decision of wanting to marry Shagun...she has a lot of self-respect to prove her love again and again and go grovel at his feet...that's a lot of grace..and a lot of guts...and SO MUCH LOVE!👏
