Sometimes I wonder is this show only at the mercy of the whims of the script writers or as they say very often life imitates art or the other way round art imitates life.
It is what you put into the universe in whatever dimension - be it in Real or Reel that starts working
Everything originates from abstract thought
We have hardly any control over our thoughts and even less over the direction of those thoughts
Where they hit ,boomerang or splinter nobody knows
Ishita's parents wanted her to marry
She had been rejected
Ruhi had been rejected by her mother and neglected by her father
They were both in need, both in receptive mode for what they needed
That is why Mr. Iyer's and Mr. Bhalla's thought to o get Raman and Ishita married worked though both Raman and Ishita had had no thought for eachother
Mihir had thought only for Raman and the Bhallas ,Mihika had thought only for Mihir
She sacrificed for Mihir to save him
He sacrificed for the Bhallas- first by agreeing to marry Trisha and then by marrying Rinki
And that too both put their will into what they did
They had thought for eacother but their directions proved to be different
Romi and Sarika showed promise of being a happy couple during their courtship days but alas that was not to be so .Their thoughts were governed by their priorities and mindsets
Family pressure on one hand in the case Romi bec of his mother's attitude towards a girl like Sarika and in case of Sarika the trauma of mother's illness , Parmeet and then a miscarriage of the baby of a man she loved and then realising she could only get him through foul means and retain him through even fouler means .Her thoughts and his thoughts lacked the power of thought and direction- a real shame
Shagun had grand thoughts but misdirected
She lost out on all fronts
Her saving grace was the fact that Ishita did not entertain any sort of negative thinking whether the source were the thoughts of another or herself for she never allowed herself to think negatively even in the worst of situations
Mrs Iyer and Mrs Bhalla though poles apart shared a common thought intensely - their love for family
Mani had a strong sense of filial duty towards his sister's children and thought for them
His thought for Ishita could never clash with that interest just as Ishita's thought for Mani could never clash with Ruhi's interest which was at hervheart Yet When circumstances and coincidence played a certain role in their lives their common purpose of thought though addressing different targets but basically the same in nature brought them together
Adi's love for Ishima and his biological emotions for Shagun were balanced well in his psyche because both the thoughts never clashed because his family thought about him collectively with love and directed their thoughtfulness towards him unfailingly through all his ups and downs
Ruhi presently is in the throes of trauma ,uncertainties of adolescence ,physical fear and fettered to a ruthless task master .Her mind had stopped at that moment when she was abandoned for Pihu and ceded to a monster and her mind awakened when she came out alive after the accident and had only Nidhi at hand - even if she wanted she could not entertain any other thoughts,
So thought is the governor but then exceptions they say prove the rule
That is why we have been reduced to witnessing a thoughtless rendition of YHM
