I dont think i've ever seen such a hodge podge of events as i've been seeing in yhm since the past few weeks. It started off as a rational, beautiful story about life giving you second chances at all relationships, and has now turned into an unbelievable cacophony of unrealistic and overacted performances. One second ishra are having a baby, the next they lose it. Shagun suddenly then is the surrogate mother for their child and transforms from evil desperate housewife to some holy saint and then again to a maniacal bipolar suicidal nut, without any sensible reason. Rinki is dead, mihir and mihika may find true love again, iyer uncle is reliving his jawaani and in the middle of a confused plot of grief and hilarity simi is snooping around like the proverbial sherlock and trying to uncover a supposed affair between raman and shagun. And between it all, the CEO of one of the most established and profitable companies in the country has lost his ability to think rationally. As if all of this wasnt enough, yesterday's episide showed us a bipolar shagun traipsing through the airport (which did not even look like an airport, btw) as if it's her backgarden. God forbid that logic ever enters in yhm's storyline. And sub se mazay ki baat tou yeh hai, ke we have a complete change in genre now and get to see shagun the not so friendly ghost playing detective detective in trying to catch rinkis murderer (well well, how loved was rinki to be the object of so many people's plotting and planning). Does it get any more ludicrous than this. Im sorry i asked that, because apparently it does in yhm world.
Instead of writing all of this lambi kahaani to express the disaster that has been unravelling, the following line should have been sufficient:
Well, that escalated quickly... 😕
