Normally a couple opt for surrogacy when the couple doesn't have any children and the wife is unable to bear the child and this happens when they decide to continue the legacy of the family that is when they want to have a child of the husband to continue his vansh. Otherwise it is as good as adopting a child. A wife will agree for surrogacy only when she loves her husband and want his family to continue even when she is his wife and when she doesn't want to share him with one more female.
Here Raman has 2 biological children from his 1st wife and they will continue the legacy. So whether the next child has Ishita's ansh or not doesn't matter as she is not going to carry the child in her womb. With all this if he is thinking of a surrogate child, the it is to prove that he has become a father for the 3rd time and nothing else. how can he tell Ishita that he had planned and succeeded in stealing her eggs abnd got it implanted in his ex wife's womb to have his third child which has his and his current wife's genes but the one who gave blood and food to the fetus is his ex wife. So that child will have all the 3 characters in it. It will be the child of 3 people and not 2 like any other child.
