Raman's love for Ishita is a obsessed one. He thinks her happiness lies in her having her own child and is doing all that is possible in his capacity to get her a child which has her genes. In the process, he is not realizing the fact that to give her 1 happiness, he is killing her whole happiness by getting close to her sautan who always berated her calling her banj and can't bear a child. He is proving Shagun right by making her as a surrogate mother to Ishita's child (eve if he thinks her as a goddess alighted to earth just to become a surrogate mother to ishita and there by give her the happiness of becoming a mother) that Ishita is incapable to be a mother and to get a child, she had to depend on fertile Shagun's womb. Even after getting ababy through surrogacy, no one will call her (those who called her barn) the birth giving mother. They will say Shagun became a surrogate mother to make Ishita mother. This is one reason in many cases of surrogacy, the couple who is opting for a child will go away from their location along with the surrogate mother and for more than 9 months ( a term to get pregnant & become mother) and will return home along with child and call it as their's and not as surrogate baby as our society is not so forwarded to accept surrogate child as own child. As it is Raman is indebted to Shagun and is not ready to hear a word against her even from ishita and later when Bhalla family come to know about the sacrifice Shagun did for Raman, they will treat her as queen Elizabeth and Ishita will not even a have a value in the family forget about love. As far as Mrs. Bhalla is concerned, it is raman's child and she doesn't mind whether it is borne by Ishita or Shagun, whether it has Ishita's genes or Shagun's.
Ishita wanted a child of her own because she wanted to feel the child in her womb for that 9 months period and had to undergo all the pain of bearing a child in her womb and then giving birth to it. If she had to become a mother through surrogacy, there was no need for her to wait so long and bear the insult from the society. For that there was no need for her to even marry raman, she could have given her eggs to the doc who could have use them to make a test tube baby by using any random sperm from sperm bank and inject that to any agreed female to bear and deliver Ishita's child.
And what is this pampering of Shagun by both Raman & Manoj? Guys believe me, even I was preggy once and I never had the craving on the day 1 of pregnancy. And no one will think of pampering her mood from day one. No one will even be assured about the pregnancy till the lady complete the 1st trimester but here people are ready to name the baby one the day of mating.
Didn't they said Shagun's uterous was delicate during Ruhi's pregnancy and Raman had to sign for either the mother or child? Then how come her uterous is so strong now to become a surrogate mother?
