Note: with star plus continuing the #HopeNeverDies campaign .. I needed to get this off my mind as every time I see it.. I feel insulted as a woman

So Raman's idea of protecting Ishita's baby is by pampering Shagun to death even at the cost of Ishita's feelings getting hurt. My question to the brilliant creatives who thought of this track...did Ishita ever utter she wanted a baby or did she ever consent to one.. Then how is it 'her baby'? Wasn't it within Ishita's rights to determine whether she wanted a her child to incubate in Shagun's womb? Yes I know you guys are trying to bring forth Ishita's insecurities... But after following the Ishra journey for past almost two years... I really wonder is this the only way you could have brought it forth? Showing a woman who can't conceive, is going to come to know that her husband has reached out and agreed to have that woman who has called her the children's ayah to baanj every chance she got, as surrogate of her child.

The husband who was always shown to want a child with her so that she could experience child bearing is today making her realize her physical deficiency again... Of her inability to bear a child, by planning to gift her a ready made child borne out of another woman's womb. The Very thought process is so degrading... It's just infuriates me as an audience.

Yes tomorrow they might show Shagun was playing along ...there is no baby... But will it ever go away from someone in Ishita's position... That even the guy who she thought understood her pain inflicted the biggest insult to her, her identity as a mother that she felt secured in being Ruhi and Adi's IshiMaa by trying to gift her own biological child borne through surrogacy as she's unable to carry her own child full term?

Please show me the hope in this line of thinking. Love shouldn't be like blinding that you lose perspective and become the reason of ultimate insult to the one you love.

I've tried to wrap my head around this track... Tried to be nonchalant about it.. Stayed away from watching the episodes ... But somewhere deep down .. It hurts me as a woman that even in a fiction written by another woman, the thinking could be this callous.

So star plus please first tell me where the hope is .. Then we'll understand how it can never die. As I see Ishita dying each moment she sees Raman pampering Shagun in front of her eyes because she's pregnant ... And Ishita just lost her hope of being pregnant .

Hi Gan,
I have not watched the show but SP tweets are starting to bother me at least they should take out the word hope from their tweets.

What is the use of giving a gift to a person when you have already killed that person

Raman is slowly killing Ishita because of his closeness to Shagun and the sad part is he who prides himself that he can read her eyes for what she is feeling at the moment cannot even fathom that he is hurting her when she explicitly told him( I saw an olv where Ishita says to him you are taking care of Shagun because she can be a mother and I can't instead of consoling her he is very angry with her staying that words cannot be taken back or you will regret this when you know the truth something like that I can't remember properly) so he has successfully killed her and after nine months when she is walking like a zombie he is going to gift her the same knife with which he killed her.

I have only one question on my mind if it was Lakshmi who was the surrogate mother would he be signing songs for her or take her to shopping or to an ice cream parlor my guess is no because it would create unnecessary problem in her life so I am not going to buy CV crap by making Raman say he is doing this for Ishita happiness every time he is hurting Ishita

The only hope they are broadcasting is no matter how bad your deeds are if you can physically give birth to a child every sin is forgotten and if you can't give birth physically then no matter however good you are you will be blamed for the mess even if you are not there to create a mess in the first place

Gan, even i tried keeping myself away from this YHM track but all those shameless tweets of Starplus is not letting me forget. I am not being a feminist here but it is beyond disgusting to deal with this track that i stopped keeping track of written updates too. Couple whom i loved is now not strong enough to pull me back. I should vent it out here so that it goes out of me forever.

Raman is the only character which was penned beautifully in YHM. After almost two years, this man somehow always made him comparable to real men in this world. He realises only to commit mistakes again. Before the beginning of this brilliant track, i was always able to justify his mistakes. He is flawed yet a nice man whom you can find in real life. But where is that man now?

Yes, Raman was guilty that Ishita lost her kid. All his activities till challenging god was totally acceptable but cheating Ishita into signing surogacy papers? How to define this as love? How can love keep the other person in the dark? Looking at RKB's character trait, i always knew Ishita will become his obsession at one point of time but this is madness. cv's forgot to draw a line between Raman's blind love and madness. This particular act can not be justified at all.

That woman who is carrying the kid meant the life to him at one point of time. The thought of putting the foetus of his present wife in her womb should have disgusted Raman. It is not rocket science that Raman failed to see that and Ishita should make him see that.

Even before falling in love, Raman realised that Ishita might feel uncomfortable seeing him and Shagun together. The much in love Raman failed to see that. I never liked to compare Subbu and Raman but today, Subbu seems better. He is cutting open the same wound which was healed by him in these two years.

No matter what they do to this track, it was a cheap thought from the cv's side. The thought of this track is not letting me keep a straight face. How on earth did a female write this? This is not hope. This is insulting all infertile women in this world.

It is like telling people you wanted pregnancy, have shown that for a week. Now, back to our true love. What becomes indigestible is the fact that RKB became the bait for that. I hate to see him now. Mission success cv's...

Hold on, Gan. Don't you remember that "questioning Raman's love for Ishita is a sin"? Here's a list of what else is a sin too.
1. Questioning where the heck logic is.
2. Questioning Shagun's (may her holiness live long) necessity in the storyline.
3. Trying to understand how YHM came to see this day.
4. Questioning how are they not aware of what they show while publicizing.
5. Questioning about the sudden hike that Raman's sanity/ sensitivity/ judgment took.

There is no hope unless it spells 'Shagun' or vice versa. There's no YHM anymore. It's the Shagun Show!

Completely agree...I don't understand one thing and it really baffles me...RKB is the character which the creatives themselves have created...we have only loved him..how can they be so insensitive and ruthless to completely destroy their own baby just for the glorification of another 😭

👏 Your gif said it all. Just plain and simple. Thank you for making this post.
Rkb my fav character butchered, ishita next target. All for sw., just to glorify her. I can't believe that women writers can stoop this low to make sw the surrogate. Regressive thinking, I cannot comprehend this at all.

Gan,

Like Klaus, Raman should name his kid a variant of hope.

They desperately need it.
