At times, I feel society plays its role as well. For example, strong female oriented shows usually don't do well.
We literally need to understand that females and males together make up humanity. Its high time both the genders are rated on the same scale and rank that is on the basis of their merit!
Talking about feminism, I remember the track when Mihika married Ashok for revenge! Ekta's ideas of feminism are strange! That was plain stupid! But I am happy that she later grew brains and now, look who she has a much cultured and sensible guy and someone with whom any lady would love to be with! Abhishek values Mihika best part again!
It certainly does. As bitter as it sounds, indian diary soaps only work when there's a love story to it. It always ends up getting plugged otherwise. Internet audience are of course have a broader thought process considering the fact we're of today's generation but a large part of the tv audience are a more of the previous generation with old school thoughts.
I so agree! At that point I didn't really follow YHM regularly or anything but I liked Mihir and Mihika while they lasted and I felt so bad for Mihir when Mihika married Ashok. She could have just confided in someone who could have helper her out. But I'm happy she's to back to being the old feisty Mihika. I adore that character so much more.
I know! I'm glad Abhishek's in the picture now, she deserves a guy like him, who actually treats her with respect. Unlike that monster, Ashok. That guy is seriously just a pathetic excuse of a man. The time he tried to molest Mihika, after their marriage, that scene was seriously horrifying.
