But who prays for Satan?
Who, in eighteen centuries, has had
the common humanity to pray for the one
sinner who needed it the most? -
Mark Twain
The villains in YHM have touched a new low (read: Ashok) to justify the erstwhile vamp (read: Shagun) making a case of divine intervention before something untoward could happen with HER erstwhile arch-nemesis (read: Ishita).Wonderful. Masterstroke, I must say. Shagun, the saviour in times of distress; Shagun, the social worker working towards the welfare of women yada yada...I have given up. And now am giving in to the sainthood of this sinner..
I will not go into the nitty gritties of HOW Ashok spiked Ishita's drink and lured her into Jhakkar's bedroom, on the pretext of using the washroom..coz it has done it far too many times...and it seems he will soon be awarded with a Doctorate degree soon, for the same😡 The whole thing looked sleazy and disgusting, with the creep arranging the bedroom lights and scattering rose petals over Ishita's face...and for every minute of the sleaze that slipped Ashok's tongue...I was mortified, and damn pissed with Raman for leaving his wife alone in the party with this creep lurking around.😡
Either way, its publicly very humiliating to be so dressed up for a party and then get avoided by your spouses because of some fitoor dominating his senses...
Mrs. Tandon, who, minutes ago couldn't take her hands off Ashok was unable to keep her eyes off Raman now...I dont blame her...Raman looked very, very hot...that cropped, smart haircut...the beard...the fiery look in his eyes...my heart was thudding inside...I'd have been a complete goner had I not been annoyed with him for behaving like a complete buffoon with his beloved wife.

She managed to drag him to a guestroom in the house...and had her hands all over...for a moment I was struck with anxiety and rage that Raman might give in, coz much like majboor cattle he got pulled into the guestroom and even shared an intense eye-contact with Mrs. Tandon for a couple of minutes...But then tumbled out all the virtuosity hidden in his angsty heart and he lectured her about how spending one night with him will not solve her troubles...how she was behaving like a selfish, callous woman rejecting and cheating on her husband for the fact that he was no more financially well-off as before...
His eyes spoke of the betrayal he had felt when Shagun left him for a "more successful, better man"..his heart pounded with the pain he felt afresh as he soaked in the consequences of Mrs.Tandon's shameful behaviour and it cut across him, piercing his heart with a raw, intense fiery pain...each word he spoke to Tandon's wife disguised as well-meaning advice, in reality, hid the embers of his past...the dark tunnels he navigated alone in those more than 6 years of his first wife leaving him for another man and shattering his very being, his family, everything...
I forgot my anger for a moment during his conversation with Tandon's wife, partly because each word took me back to the time HE lived in hell...and also because even when he was annoyed and disgruntled with his wife for no particular reason, he did not spare a single chance of letting others know how incredibly lucky he was to have to Ishita in his life... And the fact that despite committing such tomfoolery and abandoning his wife, who now was lying unaware and unconscious in a corner of the house, at the mercy of a creep like Ashok; he drew us in, once again, in his personal saga of love, loyalty and betrayal...That for me, is the mark of an outstanding actor...an actor who can convince us with his actions no matter how foolish, how dumb, how stupid...KP was BRILLIANT TODAY!👏
And one sentence he kept repeating over and over again, that hit me square in the chest : Kabhi kisi ka bharosa tod na mat, nai toh jeena bahut mushkil ho jata hai...
Well, the scene ended on a very cute note, with Raman first threatening Shweta he will tell on her, and report her activities to her husband...and instead lending her his phone and asking her to speak to Tandon and tell him how much she loved him...It was emotional, kinda...a woman who was cheating on her husband and has strayed far away from the home comes back to her roots, as she realises the depth of her husband's love and trust...Tandon cried and expressed his love unabashedly, marvelling his good luck...
I was STRUCK by how many amongst us live in the innocence of a powerful love that holds us secure and tight in its embrace, and what can possibly happen if this picture perfect image ever crumbles before our eyes...Raman saved Tandon's life from crumbling down the same way his own life had shattered many years ago...
What he DID fail to do what save his wife from the lecherous monster who had her in his grip ...and that still disappoints me no end😭
Ashok, on the other hand...became MORE disgusting than he already is...trying to sexually assault a woman and malign her repuation, busy clicking pictures with her ...came right back in line with a multitude of slaps raining across his smarmy cheek...from no less than HIS ex of course...Shagun aka Ruhi Arora
Now, now...Im not sure WHAT I feel about Shagun rescuing Ishita...happy, sad, outraged, numb with disbelief, pissed, I am not sure...But am I disappointed that it had to be Shagun rather than Raman? Yes! I mean, this forceful insertion of Shagun in IshRa's life to prove the enormous changes she has undergone as a human being and so, can be trusted...has be suspecting a lot of what is going on in the CVs mind...
Are they prepping Shagun Arora for the leap? If not, then WHY this Sati Savitri drama? And this bhalai coming from Shagun's end?? Well...if its been brought about to truly showcase redemption of a nasty character, then well, okay...
But some of the things she said sounded like Hebrew to me - Main sirf isliye tumhen jaane de rahi hun kyunki bechari Ishita ismein involved hai.. Tum mein thodi si bhi insaniyat baki hai ki nai (this was OUTRAGEOUS since she easily spent more than 6 years with Ashok Khanna, the apparent monster)...
OF COURSE she deleted the pictures...but whether I have made peace with Shagun's reformed avtar or not, I could not help express my glee when Ashok got slapped left, right and centre...I guess he got slapped a total of 10 times or so...😆😆😆

Seems the guy who initially met Raman at the start of the party, Vivek Jain...he was the one who called Shagun to the rescue...That sounds preposterous...I mean, if he really DID see Ashok doing something shady with Ishita, he could easily have rung alarm bells in the party...looked for Raman...gone to screw the creep's happiness himself...call Mrs. Jhakkar who was the host, anyway...but naeen...he chose to call Shagun to come to Ishita's rescue...kya logic hai??!! And she drove down a few kilometres and did all the nautanki of getting a spare key and beating the crap out of Ashok...
Shagun seems to be the Go-to Woman for ANYTHING that happens in the city, huh??
Khair, its a show...so I have to rest my case
But this is so ironical - There Raman was, baring his heart out to Mrs. Tandon, telling her how Shagun had done the same to him and left him shattered and broken, till Ishita came in his life...and here, Shagun was who rushed to her ex's wife's rescue and saved the day before some damage could be done...so the woman who literally shattered his marriage and life, saved them both today? Huh?
I am not glorifying her or anything...I was just musing over it...
Do IshRa get to know of it? Do they not? I have no idea...coz the precap doesnt really indicate anything of the sort...
But I realized one thing - as much as we beat our chest and protest Shagun's inclusion and interference in IshRa lives...she is here to stay...😭
Raman and Shagun have a karmic connection, so do Iishita and Shagun, so do Ashok and Shagun. No matter how we phrase our protests, we shall keep getting treated with these eyesore karmic connections over and over again
On a happier note, I LOVED seeing Ashok slapped around like he was a trashbin... I dont care WHO he got slapped by😆
But the highlight of the episode was Shagun, riding on her newfound sainthood...Now I dont know how to different between her and Raman and Ishita and the others...saints and sinners have suddenly blended in YHM😆
What is Raman going to do now? Now that BOTH his wives (albeit, one is the ex wife) are saints...??😆😆
PRECAP - Raman comes and wakes Ishita up...asking her "kya haal bana rakha hai"...I guess she answers him in a stiff way...and as she gets up to walk a few steps, she sways and Raman catches her...and they lose themselves in an intense eyelock...
I guess it will be consummation, hereafter😆😉..coz Ishita wont bother berating her husband for treating her like a pile-on ...just like Raman wont bother finding out WHY she is lying there in the first place...I cant believe its just US who break our heads over them acting mad...woh toh dono apni hi dhun mein hai
P.S. On a lighter note, Shagun looks like dealing with creeps like Ashok has armed her with so much strength she can fight off any number of goons all by herself...she has become Mumbai AND Delhi ki Kiran Bedi🤣🤣 Sorry...couldn't help putting down the reference..this movie was worse than a horror movie...😆
