Oh I totally agree about the 1D portrayal of cultures. I'm Gujju and watching the show before YHM makes me 🤢.

It's funny to me that EK is Punjabi (correct?). But from TV viewing experience, most of her shows (and really most desi shows in general) tend to build on stereotypes of every regional Indian culture.

Just want to butt in on the point Abha raised. By sacrificing the last sane Bhallas...Rinki and Mr. Bhalla, the CVs have made the whole thing appear bit lopsided, I agree. If I was punjabi I would offended too.

But I want to add that its also due to the complete shift of story to Bhallas 90% of the time. They hardly focus on any Iyer stories these days so the few minutes we get being positive are no indicator I think. They are just mining every last Bhalla for the drama.

And I don't think Subbu was a positive character. He was batshit crazy man 😆

I think they are continuing the MUs so in the end, everyone can clear up and apologize to IshRa. Ishita becomes guarantor for Romi...so of course Romi insults Ishita shortly after so later he can feel terrible about how she is the reason he's with his kid. Something similar is likely to happen with Rinki-Raman I think too. And Mr. Bhalla will apologize for misunderstanding Raman. I think this MU will continue till Shehnazji is back from London.

My two hopes for this surprisingly entertaining track...Mihir stays intact and Toshiji comes back during one of Rinki's rantings about Raman and slaps her good.

P.S. didn't Raman say just last week that adoption can't happen before they get married. Now its because of Romi's financial situation? And the baby is home already before the marriage? CVs have like no ability to plan beyond the current week I tell ya 😕

Nice review Akanksha! It seems to me that they dug out earlier scripts including Shagun and crossing her name put in Rinki's name. Rinki is totally the new Shagun!

hey

just read ur post...won't comment much as views differ on the matter...but i think everyone is reading the precap wrong...i dont think Sarika wants a share of Raman's business...

i think she overheard someone telling someone to not give business contract to Romi...meaning not giving work contract to Romi...does that makes sense...

i think its in the way we say na, that i wont give more business to that vendor...that way...
