They are just back-tracking to show Ishita's insecurities. There is no way anyone can doubt that Raman hasn't show his attraction to her as a woman (and not mother, etc) in the last 7 months.
But that's what Krishy 😭 backtracking kills the build up they created. Instead of showing her say something like that. They could have bought up sensible insecurities I could really relate to. She could be shown insecure about - not being to please Raman because she's been abandoned so many times before, because its the first time for her. She could be shown scared to take another step because if they cannot have the baby she thinks she might have to face her past. With a woman with such a medical problem and one whose gone through such an emotional turmoil can naturally have those fears. Why go back about a 100 steps and destroy what you yourself built by giving the leads such dialogues 😕
Yes his libido was turned down in Mumbai at first & during his sickness scare...but I guess if your mind is super super preoccupied...you can't get funky.
Ishita feeling like she's just a governess is still a really sad fact, but I can see where it comes from b/c people have often taunted her on this matter. Plus the most immediate memory of intimacy in her mind is during Raman's sickness scare where he tried to avoid her. So maybe in a moment of insecurity, she forgot the outpouring of deep, raw love & passion they have had.
I agree Krishy. She's been taunted and plus she hasn't birthed Adi and Ruhi, so sometimes this thought can occur. BUT the family and her husband has always respected her, given her the sense of security she deserves and more.
And yeah maybe you're right that after Shagun's taunts the immediate memory was Raman not being interested in her even though she dressed up as what he'd like. - That is a point to be noted. When one is angry or hurt, you choose not to think the sane way even if you want to.
If she really doesn't feel welcomed and accepted, it means that they both really really need a heart to heart. We can only pray they have a discussion before consummation.
CONVERSATION NEEDED REAL BAD. And a mature long one.
They've distorted the meaning of consummation starting in like May with talk of battle supreme with babies. We can only hope the undo some of this and actually show a couple having sex out of love.
Let Ishita feel fully comfortable as Mrs. Raman Kumar Bhalla. She isn't just his soulmate in terms of emotions support & such, but she should take on the full role of Mrs. Ishita Raman Kumar Bhalla & that entails having a normal healthy physical relationship.
Marriages are made on emotional, spiritual, and physical companionship in the truest sense.
Shagun was able to be a wife in the physical sense to Raman, but Ishita has filled in the void for his emotional & spiritual self. But for both to truly become complete, they do need to do it. 😆
I have faith in Raman and Ishita that they do not just want to make love for the baby. Yes it is shown that way because for some off reason they do not want to mention 'making love' out of an individual context.
But they need to have a conversation where they talk about the same, that it's okay not to have a baby. But their relation should be complete in every sense and hence they need to take a step ahead. Maybe these misunderstandings might lead to a consensual intimate moment. But the conversation is STILL important when they touch such issues.
